Greetings, gang.

Clear and 25 this morning after a day of rain yesterday. Not a lot, just a slow steady sprinkle. High for today is supposed to be in the upper 40s.

Yesterday didn't go quite as planned. Felt groggy and sluggish all morning. Skipped the gym. Wouldn't be right to fall asleep in the pool. Felt better after lunch and got the laundry all caught up. Used up the last of the milk making some cornbread last night so I guess I'll just have to force myself to go out for breakfast this morning. Oh, Darn. Then a trip to the grocery store. Also plan to hit the gym this morning. Not sure what I'll do this afternoon.

All stay safe.

Tom
Ha, and a wet good morning to ya all. Yup, it did rain during the night but it looks like it's drying up now. Still too dark out to tell, too lazy to go out and see. The rain missed the NASCAR race this past weekend, but it's gunna screw up a lot of Spring Training games this week.

No appointments today, but the rest of the month looks really busy, doctor appointments, test appointments, and a few others that makes finding free time difficult.

We have another participant in our current build challenge, welcome Doctorwayne. Now that we have to momentum going, let's see a few more come forth......
Good morning folks

It is 57 right now and going up to 64 with a chance of thunder boomers.

I survived the grocery store and came home with toilet paper. Just in time too as we were down to the last three rolls. I have to go back today as I did not realize we were low on bacon. I had to go get my annual blood work done. I will find out the results next week when I see the sawbones.

Did some more weathering. Now I need to hit the hoppers with a wash and seal the sharknose. Started on the next group of covered hoppers.

Did some more cleaning of the rails and got a locomotive to run around the layout with no stalls. Here is a little clip of it running past the water tower.

(I have been trying to post a YouTube video of the run but I can't seem to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.)

I hope everybody has a good day.
Back from my shopping trip. Gas is down to $2.01.9. Was $2.14.9 over the weekend.

Tom
Hello Blue
After a couple days in the 60s it's wet and 54 this morning.
We voted. All the clowns from DC are here spreading their lies to get votes.
A very MAJOR furniture store has filed for bankruptcy and boy are they screwing their former customers, selling folks layaway's and refusing to deliver furniture that's been paid for, people that have down payments on ordered furniture are getting nothing.

You should be able to click on the movie film icon, select, "you tube" and enter the URL. If that doesn't work, try the link icon.

Well, oil dropped well over 25% yesterday and we've seen a remarkable drop of $0.01 at some stations, all the way down to $2.94. A few are even one cent lower than that. Wow.... Nope
Morning.  69 and cloudy.  Shower this evening.  Gas $1.75.  Got Dr.'s apt. this afternoon.  Garden club tonight.  Stock market thingy is crazy.  I ignore.  Rich folks will get richer by buying low stocks.  Go back up and make a fortune.

Later.
Give this video thing another try.

The local gas survey shows the lowest 10 prices in town are all under $1.00. (Cdn$, price per litre). Probably equivalent to $3 American.
We had the furnace examined today. It passed; service left us 3 filters -- 4x16x25. These things retail close to $40 each. Oh, and there's 2 sizes available. One is a few 1/8" below the nominal size; the other a few above. The big one won't fit our opening.
While he was here, he got a call. Yesterday he condemned a furnace (crack in heat exchanger) and turned it off. Today guy in house came home and turned everything back on.
Good wet morning to all. Well, it's a wet one here, still sprinkling as we speak. One forecast shows 100% for tomorrow and Friday plus a few days next week, others not as much. NWS has us under a flash flood watch starting tomorrow. There always seems to be a few that want to cross a normally dry creek or wash only to regret it after sitting on the roof waiting to be rescued.

Tompm, your video clip made it, looks good, thanks....

Appointments for the next few days will keep us busy, but I might get a few minutes to work on my challenge.

Gas buddy shows a few stations now down to $2.91, but those in my neighborhood holding fast at $2.94. Sam's Club @ $2.81, up a few cents, doesn't make sense, but it doesn't matter since I didn't renew this year, waiting for Costco to open this Spring....
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 34 at the moment but it's supposed to clear off and get to the mid 50s by this afternoon.

Hit 3 different grocery stores yesterday and still managed to miss a couple of items on the list. Went for a 2 mile walk yesterday afternoon. Today I need to rent a front loader and get the power washer out of the shed to try and do some spring cleaning in this place.

Tomorrow the local county emeregncy management is planning a storm spotting class at the local community college. Not sure if I should go or not. On the one hand I think it would be very interesting but with the coronavirus why are they planning a class where a bunch of people get together.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good afternoon folks

It is 54 now. Made it to 57.

I am glad to see I am not the only one that takes numerous trips to the grocery store to clear the list. I spent the day shopping, two grocery stores and Petsmart.

Did some more weathering last night.

Don glad to know the link worked.

I hope everybody has a good day.
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 48 but it's not gonna get much warmer. High for today is only supposed to get to 51 with winds close to 35 mph.

Quiet day yesterday. Did some house cleaning and ran to Walmart for a couple of items. Gas was down to $1.97.9. Nothing on the agenda for today. Probably going to skip the severe weather thing tonight.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning everyone, I hope the whole nation doesn't panic, otherwise the grocery store shelves will become barer than they are now.  Went to Walmart yesterday, rows and rows of empty shelves, especially in the cleaning dep't.

Gas prices here going down a penny at a time, I still see some brand gas at $2.99, Costco is down to $2.59 and Gas Buddy shows a station in Glendale at $2.47. Our area is holding at $2.91.

Got a very annoying call from DirectTV trying to entice me to come back. Told them I wouldn't listen to their deal unless they were willing to buy out my two-year contract with DISH. The guy said they'd send me a $200 gift card to help with that, far short of the $480 cancellation fee. "I can deal", he says, "Where were you when I asked for these discounts and was told there was none?", I responded... Do we need satellite TV? We need something and streaming right now is not an option, so I'm happy with what we're doing. Oh yeah, DISH is sending me a $100 debit card, just because I asked.
hi all . back again it seems that the new modem  that they gave me  when they switched to the fiber optics was bad so I had another 6 days off the grid.
don gas here in 2.54$ also have had a lot of rain the last two days if it keeps up we will have our yearly quota  filled soon.
