Good afternoon Blue.
I had a 10:50 appointment with my urologist and I was surprised that I actually got called to go in at 11:05. Signs on the wall state to wait in your car to stop the virus spread. they have the seats spaced 6 feet apart so I entered at 10:50 and took a seat. I was going to suggest that they quit over scheduling and they could eliminate the waiting room it they would see folks when scheduled but I held my tongue.  Icon_e_biggrin  I got good news though, my PSA has dropped to .2 so the last radiation procedure may have worked.

We got a nice downpour last evening, over an inch, so everything got a good natural drink.

I had to put a new battery in my truck yesterday, and a new relay to the trailer tow parking lights (which is also trailer tail lights. Both procedures went well.
I now have to replace the AC door motor which doesn't look like a bad job if you are a double jointed. It is up over the throttle pedal.  It went bad a year ago and I have had the new one since last September so you can see it really hasn't been a big problem other than it keeps running because the gear is probably stripped.

          Praying everyone stays safe.

Watched the weather part of the news last night, video of pouring rain somewhere in the Valley, just not here in our area. Had some pockmarks on the windshield yesterday, still not enough rain to measure here.

Got my interconnect circuit board drilled and marked with a sharpie. Maybe I'll be able to etch the board today. It's a process that I've been through hundreds of times, just not at home with hand-drawn circuits and using an enchant formula that I found on the Internet. Nope  If you see a big poofy cloud or some eerie glow coming from the NW Phoenix area, you'll know it wasn't the right formula for etching copper. Eek

Have a great weekend and stay safe.

Don i have used commercial (10 % ) vinegar  in past for etching boards it is slow  though .

Thanks Jim, I found several sites that say a 2:1 ratio of Peroxide:Muratic acid works really fast. Got the stuff, I'll let you know how it works.

UPDATE: tried this mixture outdoors. The heat of the sun probably accelerated the process, but my board was over-etched in about 15 minutes. Still usable, but I did keep it there a little longer than I though it would take. We used to buy bags of ammonium persulfate, costs a lot and took way longer than this did.
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 76 headed for cloudy and 92 with a heat index of 103. Gonna be a great day to stay indoors..

Very quiet day yesterday and today looks to be the same. Heading out shortly for a bike ride before it gets too miserable out there. My oldest great-granddaughter turns teenager today.

All stay safe.

Good morning all, "monsoon weather hits the valley", says the TV lady, well, just not this part of the valley. No new pockmarks on the windshield, no puddles in the streets, it just feels like rain outside without all the wet.

It's Saturday and my internal alarm clock went into snooze and so we got an extra hour of sleep today. Not that today is any different than any other day, just that after all those years of work schedules, we haven't changed our sleep programming.

Starting to wire my interconnect PCB. Although it did get a bit over-etched, it's still usable. I don't want to drill a new one, over 100 holes and half of them have to be right on or the connectors won't fit, so I'm just going to remember not to walk away from the etching process if I ever do another one. Never saw copper etch so quickly, and I did this for a good 25 years.
Hello Blue
Sun and 88 today. The air is still. No breeze.
I tried several different nights to find the comet but our sky does not get dark enough to see no more than a few stars.
A family only grad party this afternoon for #4 grandson.
Nothing else going on as we stay home most of the time. If the predictions are true, at our age we would never survive the China virus.

Well, slept till 10.  Was a tired old guy.  Two long days.  Yesterday was early out to deliver produce boxes.  Delivery was OK but had two vet techs with me.  They gave free rabies shots to the many cats and dogs of the mobile home parks.  Owners were so happy and gracious.  About 100 animals vaccinated.  Got home in time to potty [no potty places along the routes] and shower.  Out the door at 5:30 to go 20 min. away to Wifey's Master Gardener friend's for dinner and long visit.  Poured rain while we sat under a big gazebo.  Got home after 11.  We had rain too.

We were at Lowes Thursday afternoon late.  Wifey found a big pond filter.  Purchased it and we had a super big volume pond pump.  Got it working.  Now her green pond is turning clearer.  She had to clean it this AM.   Her pond is a 280 gal stock tank.  Rather big for a fish pond.  She has lots of plants in it and 7 fish [getting big].   Big filter and big volume pump makes a difference.  Filter is piped above water and easy to clean.  Blows water half way across the tank.  Worth the purchase as she was constantly clean submerged small filter.

Now mow grass and rest.  99 and humid on weather station.

See computer says train cars from Menard's have arrived.

Have a good one.
Greetings, gang.

It's a cloudy, muggy 78 outside my window this morning. The high for today is supposed to be in the upper 80s. Last night my rain chance was 80%. This morning it's down to 50% and a quick check of a satellite loop shows that's probably not going to happen either.

Only thing on the agenda for today is a bike ride which will probably be only about 7 miles due to the high humidity (90%).

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning all, looked outside, don't see any signs of rain. Checked the rain map, all sorts of rain up to 3/4" just to the west of the 303, about 3 miles away, and lots and lots of the same to the east, just a blank spot up through a corridor that goes through where we live. All we got are unmeasurable sprinkles.

Not much going on today, maybe spend more time finishing up my interconnect board. It's wired, just need to connect it to the layout wiring, then put connectors on the panel wiring and we're good to go. Oh yeah, got to go out and water the tree that the HOA dinged us for having dead branches on. Was counting on some rain of course..... Icon_cry

Have a great and peaceful day today, they're starting to play baseball again, a pity that I haven't watched a game in many, many years, not going to start now. Nope
Same old same old.  Hot and humid.  Resting and staying in.

Got train cars from Menards.  They do love their tape.  Everything extra taped.  Takes a good knife to get into the boxes.

Enjoy the week ahead.
Greetings, gang.

Clearing skies and pleasant temperatures today. 64 at the moment headed for the low 80s with similar weather for the remainder of the week.

Pleasant day yesterday. Got a call from my grandson. He and his girlfriend came for supper last night. At least I got enough warning to be able to whip up a nice meat loaf (requested by girlfriend). They plan to stop in again later in the week before grandson heads home to Rapid City.

Not much on the agenda for the day (or week for that matter). Gym this morning. The remainder of the day is up in the air.

Gas prices back down to $1.93.9.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning everyone, well, they've taken rain out of the forecast and put high temps in its place. We're looking at up to 117 by some guessers, 115 by others. Regardless, anything over 110 and no one can tell the difference, hot is hot. Eek Maybe some rain next week. Waiting

Busy week coming up, going to clean up the golf cart and try to get it sold, just taking up space and costing insurance and tags to use it just a few times a year. We used it several times a day when we were in the retirement community, but that was almost three years ago. Wow, how time flies when you get this old Icon_e_surprised .....

Gas here is holding around $2.45. Must be having a gas war in Glendale, both Costco and Sam's Clue, (about a half mile from each other), are under $2.00.
115 degrees? nobody in their right mind would want to live there in the summer...lol That's why you have snow birds.
92 here and that's hot for Mi.
A grad party on Saturday, mostly family and daughter served just a few people at a time. Turned out well. Sunday I just goofed off.
Just kidding about the 115 but it's not for me.

Hot and humid.  100 on weather station [in the sun now].  Slight chance of rain.  Better chance later this week.

New camera and mic [all in one] worked. Decided to take the leap and purchase it. Seems ZOOM County meetings are the thingy. County sometimes uses some Microsoft thingy too.  Just finished a Food Security for our local area.

Now, see what to do in all the heat and humidity. Yesterday added a new siding to the railroad for more storage of covered hoppers at the grain elevator. Ran out of straight track so it is to arrive today.

Hope all have a great day.
hi all . another Monday ,  finally finished the eastern car works flat that someone gave me half finished will not be building anymore eastern kits . starting on finishing up the P2K covered hoppers , have 125 of them now ( i know dumb but like the looks of them ) . leg it getting to the itchy stage now and driving me nuttier than usual,
to be honest i don't have the foggiest what gas is here now ( car is getting about 10 days to the gallon ) think the wife filled it on the 12th.
keep safe .
Jim
Good afternoon folks

According to the weather people it is 90. The backyard weather station says 96. Official high is supposed to be 93.

Didn't get much modeling done yesterday. I spent some time knocking an old squirrels' nest out of the tree at the car port. I got tired of pieces of it falling on the car. As long as I stayed in the shade of the tree it wasn't too bad. Once I moved into the sun it was brutal.

I have the layout almost clear of rolling stock. I have a few strays I am not sure what to do with. I also found to flat cars with trailers that I need to store. Perhaps I will get them stored today.

I hope everybody has a good day.
