Good morning, here we are once again at the start of another weekend. I'm not a big sports fan, but I see where the Browns finally won a game after not winning since Dec. 2016. They gave out free beer in celebration...
Temps here are expected to be around 100, give or take a few degrees. Earlier in the week they had rain in the forecast. They've taken it out now until mid-week, and then just one day. I wonder how they can figure that out that it will be dry until Tuesday, then dry again after that....

Cloudy and cool this morning in the remote reaches of northern Iowa. Right now it's 57 headed for a high of...57. Not gonna be the nicest day of September. Yesterday's high was 92 so there is some definite contrast between yesterday and today. 75 by Sunday then the weather pattern settles into a more fall like condition with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the 40s. Got about a half inch of rain last night.
Nothing accomplished yesterday other than sitting around feeling miserable. Same in store for me today. This cold is not fun.

Quiet day yesterday. Walked to grocery store. Today looks to be disastrous for my college football team. Behind 30-0 and it's not even half time yet. Oh, well. It's only a game.

Good morning all. Yeah, football weekend is upon us, but so is the fall equinox which I think is much more important an event to celebrate. What I don't understand about football is we have coach that are fired because the team wasn't winning enough games, or a player who is traded because of the same reason, and they pay out millions to them because they still have time left on their contract. So then we have a team that hires that coach or player thinking that they're getting a winner, and pay them yet millions more then wonder why they still aren't winning games.... True for both professional and college teams.
Busy this morning and up till now. LE/FD/EMS softball tourney for LE officer's daughter with cancer. Left as Spectrum came to check thigs out. Had some problems since storm. All OK now. Off to run errands. Treated lots of fire ants nests in Wifey's gardens. Water brought them up and spreading. Had new ones at the farms. Farms OK as less water and wind than us. Woods was surprisingly dry as no water standing in big holes.

51 and clear at the moment with a predicted high of 75. 77 for tomorrow then back to fall temps with highs in the 60s.
Started watching football yesterday but gave that up when we fell behind 30-0 before half time. Went for a bike ride instead. Nothing else accomplished. Not much planned for today. Right now I'm waiting for the paper to arrive. Second day in a row I've had to all.

Good morning all, a bit cooler today, 102 is the forecast, still a bit hot for this time of the year about five degrees above average, but five degrees below the record high.
Not much else to talk about but the weather. Just going to be a lazy day today, I hope there's something decent to watch on TV other than sports. When I do start to watch a football game, I switch it off the first time I see someone doing a dance in the end zone or strutting around like a chicken after doing something that he's getting big bucks to do in the first place.

Quiet day yesterday. Rode the bike for 10 miles. Today marks the beginning of fall for me. First batch of leaves to be picked up before I can mow the yard.

Good morning, wow, got through another weekend of football clogging the airwaves. Oh wait, isn't there Monday night and Thursday night football coming up? Have they added any more days? It doesn't matter, America's Got Talent is over and I guess they have to fill in the empty spots with something. Just kidding, but we will miss AGT now that it's gone for the season.

Cloudy and cool this morning. Right now it's 56 with a predicted high of 57. Not gonna warm up a whole lot. Rain predicted for later this morning or early this afternoon.
Got the yard cleaned up and mowed yesterday and that's about all. Tried to ride the bike but every time I thought about it the wind would kick up. Finally gave up on that idea.
Up next is breakfast followed by a trip to the yard waste disposal site and a stop at the store for some groceries. Nothing planned yet for this afternoon.

Good morning everyone, well, it's still morning on the west coast, and Arizona right now is on the west coast clock. The time change is due sometime in October I think, but we don't pay attention since most of Arizona doesn't adhere to Daylight Savings Time changes.
Temps still in triple-digits for the next week or so. Today will be our 123 day of 100 or more. The record right now is 143, so we're close.
