Good Morning all,
Cold as a coal digger shovel this morning here in Raphine VA. says 19deg on the truck temp. too cold to even get out and get coffee. guess Ill have to get my pot down and brew some up. Headed back to Pa on Monday, going to be busy week before the holiday. Was looking for sometime to run around but seems time is becoming my enemy the last few weeks.
Need to be back at the house by the 19th want to at least get a few days of hunting in and then start the mad dash before Christmas Holiday. going to try and take off for the winter this year. we will see what happens.
You all keep warm and be happy
Greetings, gang.

Another cold day in store. 29 right now headed for only 33. Won't warm up til Wed.

Quiet day yesterday. Grocery run followed by college football. Today is an F1 race @ 10:30 followed by.... umm, nothing.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning.  Back from the hunt.  Spikes and does.  Finally went below freezing here.  Well, it November.  Check on Veteran's discounted or free food today.  Most doing the ceremony tomorrow like we are.  Out cry of interferes with church.

Later.
Good afternoon, barely (it's 2:30 here), yeah, parades are tomorrow around here and most vet's freebies are either tomorrow or both days. We usually go to Denny's a few times a week for breakfast, tomorrow they are offering a free Grand Slam to vets. I doubt that I'll take them up on that since my appetite is way off and I wouldn't be able to do it justice. I'm starting to feel a bit better now, I had my last "procedure" in Friday and should be getting back to normal in a few weeks.
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 20 with some light flurries this morning. Bad part about the flurries is that they are sticking on the cracks in the pavement. The two previous snows we had this year on stuck on the grass and disappeared by the end of the day.

Quiet day yesterday. Watched the F1 race and then got the glass in the front storm door. Today I get the tires rotated at ten and then head to the gym. May stop at the grocery store afterwards.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning.  Cloudy and rain on the way.  Maybe lots.  Wish I could send it to CA.

Off to Veterans' Memorial.  11:00 thingy.

Golden Corral at 5.

Have a good one.
Good morning all, and a good day for all the vets. Yeah, a day late but the politicians all like to have those three-day holidays and move things to fit.

This has to be the coldest day so far this season. It has to be snowing up north. Down here, temps not suppose to get out of the mid-60's. That and the wind make it difficult to stand outside very long...

I like the Golden Corral, there's one just about two miles from us. We usually to go there for breakfast a few times a month and hit dinner occasionally, it's one of the only ones in the area that have breakfast every day. Senior early bird discount helps.
Greetings, gang.

One more cold morning before it warms up for a few days. 10 right now after an overnight low of 9. High for today is supposed to be in the low 30s.

Got all my chores done yesterday. Last night I couldn't get enough food. Had 2 big helpings of a casserole, a dish of ice cream, a bag of popcorn, two waffles, and a Marie Calendar frozen pie.

This morning I'm off to the gym. This afternoon's agenda will be a big surprise for me as I have none.

All stay safe.

Tom

PS out and about this morning and gas is down to $2.41.9
Greetings on the frigid afternoon. Don't know, I thought things froze when it got below 60 in this part of the country, but apparently, it doesn't. Went to breakfast in the mid-40's, no ice or snow around, but that's way too cold for humans to be in. High still not suppose to get past 70 today, better chance tomorrow though....
Good morning all from York Pa. Do t know when it happened but it happened, someone needs to turn the heat back up! Looking forward to heading to the house for the holiday.for now all this talk of Golden  Coral, I'm in search of a Waffle House or Huddle House for breakfast this morning. Everyone keep warm suppose to get a taste of winter here in the east starting Thursday. YOU ALL have fun and Be Safe
Morning.  Plenty of rain.  Stopped long enough to start back.  Maybe more flooding east.  Need to send to CA.

Out the door for another busy day.

Later.
Good morning, I have to agree about turning the heat back up. For us locals, 45 is below freezing and we dress accordingly. Having breakfast in Denny's and seeing folks showing up in T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops kinda lets you know where they're from. I wonder how they'd be dressed when it is 115 out??? Eek Still, there's hope, it should get into the 70's later today.
Greetings, gang.

One more sunny day in store for those of us in the upper midwest. High for today is supposed to be in the mid 40s. Currently it's 26.

Quiet couple of days around here. I've been going to the gym regularly but not much else is happening. Today will start with another trip to the gym followed by the last leaf roundup of the season. Also need to perform the semi-annual season shed switch (yes, I love alliteration). Put the summer toys in the shed and get out the winter toys. This will also include greasing the snow blower and changing the oil.

Don - you should move here so that 45 can feel warm.

All stay safe.

Tom
Tom sent me his weather.  44 and raining.  BURRR!!!

Early out this AM for Human Services.

Got a 6 thingy with Chamber [wish I could stay in].
Yeah Tom, great idea, however, if I wait long enough (around 3PM), we're looking at about 75. That I can take....

Frank, be glad to send you a bit of this, take your choice, 45 in the morning, or the 75 in the afternoon....

Man, the F35's from Luke AFB are going wild, they're a lot louder than the F-16's and they do fly right over the house on approach. They've been busy the past few days from early morning to around 9:00 at night, maybe because they were grounded for a while and they're back in the air now. Not complaining at all, the sounds of freedom as they say. Worship
