Hello Blue
We have a cloudy high of 35 day.
No snow on the ground except in shady areas.
York badge's are in the mail so spring is coming for us. Well baby steps, but it will come.

Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 27 with rain/snow on the way. May get 1-2" of wet heavy snow. Should melt quickly though.

Yesterday I finished the stairs and the hallway. Today I'll be moving furniture out of the kitchen and starting floor removal.

Mr. B - Welcome back.

Frank - next week! 2285_

All stay safe.
Good morning all, and welcome back mr bachmann, good to see you.

Nice day, cloudy but it still got into the mid-80's. Some of those TV guessers say it could rain tonight and tomorrow, others deny such claims. There is a lot of things going on this weekend, I can go to the NASCAR races,(about 20 miles away), the annual Ostrich Festival is in full swing (about a 40 mild drive), I can go see a Spring Training baseball game (about a mile away), or I can go to Harbor Freight's parking lot sale, (about a 2 mile drive). Guess which one I'll be going to.....
thanks for the warm welcome guys Thumbsup - if only the weather was as warm , rain this am and dry and cold after lunch , new led bulbs fitted to car front head/side lights - wont improve much but will cut down drain on battery and low output dynamo/generator . hard work starts when valeting commences Popcornbeer
mothers day (UK) Sunday - best not forget !!!
UK, glad to see you back. Nice car. Give me some facts and a rundown on it. ??????

Warm per weather station on desk. Indicates 56 degrees but feels like 36 outside. Cloudy and breezy.

Later.
Good morning folks, yup, it did rain yesterday, not a whole lot, but more than just a sprinkle for a few hours. They have more rain in the forecast for the end of this week. Gee, usually February is our rainy month, but not this year, we are still down on averages, but typical here in the desert. I understand that there are places in the world that get less rain than we do.

Oh, on the list of things I could have been doing this weekend, I forgot to add "Celebrity Fight Night", which happened last night. I'm not sure if the celebrities are the ones fighting or watching, and what they're fighting over, whoever is doing the fighting. Anyway, I missed that as well, but then again, I don't remember getting invited either.
Morning. 43 degrees and raining.

Hope all OK. Got my Ancestry DNA results. Surprising. Mostly Western European. Some Irish/Scottish/Wales. Some Portugal and Spain. Small part is Great Britain. [that is strange as the great family historian says we were knights and buried in some abbey??????] Guess I will check other.

Waiting to see what the vintage vehicle is.

Have a good one.

And a good Monday morning to ya all... It must have rained all night Saturday up to about 8:00 yesterday morning, then the sun came out and the clouds broke up to make it a nice warm and clear day for all those folks doing outdoor things.

In case you haven't been following the trials and tribulations of Flatt Bear, created by our own webmaster, Packey (Pat Day in real life, my son), he has made a few updates to his site and moved it to our new server. He will be doing the same thing to Big Blue in the next few weeks. More features, a fresher look and new software that is easier for us to work with and maintain. Anyway, if you're interested in seeing the Flatt Bear cartoon with Duffy, Carl and a host of other characters, you can find it here: http://www.flattbear.com/ He updates it three times a week.....
Greetings, gang.

Clear and 25 this morning headed for a high near 40.

Very quiet day yesterday. The most strenuous activity was updating the gps for my car. Plug it in to the computer, wait while it downloads and installs, and unplug it. Saturday was a different story. Pulled up all the old linoleum and underlayment. All ready to install the new flooring. I'll order that probably Wednesday so it's here shortly after I return. Headed off to see lady friend for a few days.

Today's agenda includes a trip to the gym and cutting up the pieces of flooring to fit in the trash cans. Not really enough for a dumpster. Also need to clean up the car, inside and out. May wait for Wed. to do that as the temperature is supposed to be in the low 50s by then.

All stay safe.

Tom
Rainy and cold good morning. May have some flurries later this afternoon. Some schools closed or early release west and north of us. Not much on agenda.

Wow, neat car UK. Never seen that one before. Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Tom, be safe on the trip and "enjoy". Wink

DAZ, new site. 2285_ Will the "address" be the same?

Later
Frank, there will be no change as to how you get here. We may have to shut down for a day or so to make the move, but we will give everyone ample notice.
Interesting observation. This morning we went walking by the train tracks. It was mildly snowing and the temperature was around freezing. Along the rails there was a patch of snow above each joint, the length of the fishplate. Rest of the rail was bare. Some sections had a bit more at crossings and in shadows.
Good morning all, temps didn't get into the 80's yesterday, today and the next few days are suppose to be different. Then comes the weekend, the TV weather people all say that we go from the mid 80's to the mid 60's for a high and rain in the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Gee, they all agree this time and I'm liking it for sure since we're not that far away from going into the 100's....

This is the last weekend of the season for skiing up in Sunrise, but I think they're staying open up in Flagstaff. Don't know for sure since I don't keep track of that, I just overheard that in one of the newscasts. Regardless, it was a short season for skiing, and an overall dry one for most of Arizona.
