Hello Blue
Sun but 23 degrees. High of 30 today.
No real news just fumbling along.
S.J.
Pennman, glad to see you're on your way to recovering. These things take time, so listen to your doctor's advice.

Not much happening here, getting ready for the big storm heading our way. Well, "big" is an relative term depending on who's evaluating whatever it is, so we may see some rain or not and there may be some snow up in the high country or not...
Afternoon.  48 degrees and Yankee dandruff flurries mixed with sun.  Got to go get a vehicle serviced.

Have a good one.
Pennman: I'm surprised (but pleased) that you're home already. Follow the instructions.

We went into the big city today. Last GO train leaves before I usually get out of bed, but we actually made the second last one. While SWMBO had lunch with some old work friends, I managed a subway ride and a streetcar ride. Plus 2 train rides of about 80 minutes. Too early/late to see anything ot the windows and the track in the city now spends much of its time in a ditch. Nothing much else of railway interest.
Snow missed us today. We got a bit on the grass but the roads just got wet.
It all went to Jersey.

Pennman - Glad to see you're back. Take care!!
Good morning all, looking for rain today and tomorrow. Weather app shows rain starting as early as 6AM and running through the day. The TV weather gal last night, show what she called four different "weather models". Each one showed a different amount of rain over the next few days. One had 0.01", two were around .35" and the forth was up to .50". No wonder these "forecasters" are confused. She decided that based on this info, we "could" get between .25 and .50 inches of rain. I guess the trick there is to take an average, then add your own spin to the numbers by playing is safe and adding a spread....
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 19 this morning. Today we resume the trend of the last few days with temps falling during the day. Supposed to be down to 14 by this evening with an overnight low around 4 for tomorrow morning. Only 103 days til spring!

Went to the gym yesterday and was able to swim for a half mile but didn't walk as my calf was still hurting from Monday's misadventures on some new equipment. Feeling fine this morning. Yesterday afternoon I picked up my new reading chair. Sits nice and looks nice in the room. Last evening I got the word that the newest great-grandbaby has arrived. Hunter James was born at 11:30 yesterday morning. 8.5 lbs and 21 inches. I will be going out to see him later this morning or early afternoon. Also got the full confession count. I now have 12 great-grandkids. I was only told about 8 before. Not sure why.

Gas is down to $2.03.9 as of last night.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning.  Sunny and cold.  Warming fast.  Messy weather coming this weekend.  Employee lunch and then go south to babysit Grands.

Later.
Congrats Tom.....

Gas here is spiraling down out of control as well. It started the week off at $2.85, then dropped to $2.83 in a few locations, now this morning I see a few stations down to a rock bottom, $2.79. Wow, what's next, $2.75? Yeah, there's a lot better, just that it's far enough away not to make sense to go just to fill up.

Oh, and the weather app said it could start raining around 6AM, well, we got out to head to breakfast and sure enough, a few minutes after 6 it was starting to tinkle. A slow light rain, but some might call a torrential downpour based on what we usually get this time of the year.... 2285_

I try and listen to the Doctors, but they are on a different schedule from the wife and my bank accounts!

I was surprised as well when they let me go from the hospital
, even took away that nice custom fit smoking jacket they gave me. But Apparently hospitals and care levels are made for emergency and immediate care and once all of that is complete you go home with a large sack full of drugs and sheet full of instructions and appointments and you go home to heal.
but thankyou all, healing well, soar as all could be, I'm not doing anymore Christmas decorations!
Hi all.

Waiting for a package to arrive. Tracking says it has been in town for a week. Post office has yet to deliver. I hate that.
Good morning all on this end of the workweek day for lots of you and just another day for us retired folk. It's wet outside, they said it would rain during the night and yup, it still is a bit. All of our yard plants are cactus or other desert trees or shrubs and not a blade of grass as well. These things survive well just storing up rainwater when it happens so even though we have a plant drip system, we don't turn it on. To start with, I don't have a clue what it waters, I see dribblers all over where there is nothing planted nearby and none where there are things that could be watered. I have to wonder what kind of changes were made over the years, but I'm not going to worry about it.

Kevin, busy time of the year for the Post Office, don't they have guaranteed delivery, it's free if it's late?  Glad you at least have a tracking # to let you know when it does go out.
Morning.  43 going to 50.  Going east to hunt and coming back.  Guessers say major "event" coming late Sat, Sunday and maybe Monday.  Probably rain for us and snow west of us.

Have a good one.
Hello Blue.
Cloudy as usual. 30 will be our high for the day.
Would love to stand and shiver with Don's 60 degrees.
We did leave once for winter but even though I was toasty warm I got homesick after a few weeks.
12/07/1941 Pearl Harbor day.
