Good afternoon everyone. Still looking for the rain that was in the forecast as well as the 90 degree temps they said would be here today. I did hear the words, "this is why...." coming from the TV weather gal, I didn't pay attention from that point on. I'm sure she was going to explain why there was no rain and no 90's in our expectations. Oh well.... 35
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 33 with a predicted high in the low 40s. Rain moving in this afternoon and lasting until Tuesday with a brief lull on Sunday.

Boxes of flooring scattered allover the kitchen and dining room. Instructions say to wait 48 hours in unopened containers before starting installation. Need to cut a spacer for the doorway yet but otherwise I'm ready to start.

On tap for today is house cleaning. May need a bobcat and a power washer.

All stay safe.

Good morning all, here we are at the start of yet another weekend. It's a bit cloudy out, but no sign of the rain we were suppose to have. Maybe today....
Hello Blue
Sunny and 40s today, no rain or snow.....fine with me.
S.J.
60 degrees with a strong chilling breeze. Rain for tomorrow and Sunday. Wallbang Did errands and chores for Wifey. She should be going up the street soon. Hysterical Society is having a new exhibit at the museum. Wink
Have a good weekend.
Greetings, gang.

28 degrees and a couple of inches of "an inch or less" of snow on the ground with predictions of up to six more inches by the time this is over. 20+ mph winds are not helping the situation at all. Fortunately I don't have to go anywhere.

Yesterday I got the upstairs cleaned except for vacuuming. Also had the electrician stop by to see if it was the recently installed breaker or the microwave that was causing the breaker to trip occasionally. The microwave was only drawing 13.5 amps on a 20 amp breaker so he replaced the breaker. We shall see. If it trips again I'll replace the microwave.

Today sees the start of the great kitchen floor installation. It will be a slow start as I'll be working in the hallway first with lots of cutting and fitting. Main part of the kitchen won't take long but the steps will definitely slow things down.

All stay safe.

60 and sunny. Cold rain on the way. Been doing errands with Wifey. One is pump gas. She does not like that chore. 20 cents a gallon cheaper at Sam's than anywhere else. Gone up over night.

Gang coming for lunch tomorrow.

Tom, good luck on renovations.

Later.
Full day -- layout tours.
Well, actually we only saw 5. Started with Magoun Pier which looks even better in person than in the photos. There were two other layouts on the same street, then a long detour for lunch. One new layout after lunch, then a friend's place to talk for a couple of hours.
Good morning. Chilly and wet. Clearing. Eagles gang coming for a late lunch. Cleaning house for Wifey who is cooking today.

Have a great week ahead.
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 31 outside with the snow melting fast. Total snow yesterday was 10 inches of "1-2 inches." Slow going for the snow blower as the snow was pretty wet.

The hallway flooring started slow and then got even slower. Granddaughter and her husband called and invited me for lunch. Two hours down the drain. Ran the snow blower a couple of times. Another two hours down the drain. Son lost power at his house so called me because he was bored. Another 20 minutes gone. Daughter called because her husband and son had just left. Another 40 minutes gone. Oh, well. Family first. I did get the hallway finished by about 7 last night and gave up for the day.

Today I'll be starting on the kitchen floor. Should go quickly.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning all, last week was "Spring Break", so I guess the roads will be filled with school buses once again. Temps are down in the normal range for the next few days, but breezy, then back into the high 80's. Oh, and there's a 91 in there again for next week. We only made it to 89 last week, but this is right about the time we do hit the 90's for a day or so.

It looks like Spring Training is over, baseball season starts on Wednesday, they say that all major league teams play that day, something that hasn't happened in umpteen years. I'm not sure why that is noteworthy, but they've mentioned it several times on the news, so I guess it means something to some people, maybe those guys that stand around the practice fields with baseball gloves on hoping to catch a fly ball.... Crazy I still think that's a ginormous waste of time, but to each his own.... Nope
Morning. 48 and sunny. Warming good as 32 earlier this AM. Errands and one meeting. All have a great week.
Hello Blue
Sun and 50 today, tomorrow is suppose to be a wet one.
Got together with a few friends over the weekend for a nice train running session.
S.J.
good sunny day here , rain forecast for to-morrow .
cricket has been crap - time England had some new 'blood' in the team .
take care all .
Good morning all, it got to the mid-70's yesterday. Now they're saying that it could hit 90 by this Thursday and not next week. I find it hard to keep up with those people that do the weather. The snowbirds are starting to flock back, it's the end of Spring Training, and the snow is melting where ever they come from. We talked to a couple yesterday that is heading back to Minnesota today. A bit early for some parts of the country though with all those storms back east.

Just a gentle heads-up, but we are getting closer to moving to the new server, our target is mid-April. We'll probably have to shut down for a half-day over the weekend, but we'll give you plenty of notice. We are hoping that the transition will be seamless, but we know of a few glitches that may require some work after the transition. We (Pat, Mikey and myself) assure you that all photos and all threads will remain intact. The one exception to that is that we will be deleting a few old-old threads before we move, some of the oldest Hobo Camp threads and a few weekly Photo Fun ones that no one looks at anymore, but anything significant will go with us. We will keep you posted as we progress.... Big Grin
