Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 61 with a 90% chance of rain this afternoon.

Had a really nice day yesterday. with older daughter and her husband.  Lots of food and laughs.  Quiet day planned for today.
Frank - bbq in the midwest is pretty much anything cooked on the grill - pork, beef, chicken.  We're not that fussy.  Icon_lol

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning, temps in the mid-80's, normal for this time of the year, but we are suppose to break 100 later this week. The average for this is the first week of May, the earliest has been on March 26, 1988.

Easter Sunday was quiet for us, just me, Peggy and a 10# ham. Hey, it was the smallest they had. It'll take a while, but we'll deal with it somehow. Next to BBQ (pulled pork, ribs), ham is my favorite meat. Please don't mention any of this to my cardiologist. Nope
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 40 after some light rain yesterday. High for today is supposed to be in the mid 60s. 70s for tomorrow.

Didn't do much yesterday other than a trip to the gym. Same thing on the agenda for this morning and a bike ride this afternoon.

All stay safe.

Tom
Been waiting all day for the rain. Cloudy, but nada... Still could happen according to the TV weather lady. On our way to Walmart around 3, the car's thermometer showed it was 91 outside. Hey, hard to believe, but they're still keeping the Snow Bowl open outside of Flagstaff. This has to be a very profitable season for them. Sometimes they stop skiing there in Feb or March. Since I've never skied, I don't really care, just that I'm happy that those that do are having a good time this year. Crazy season, 91 down here and a snow pack about 120 to the north.
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 41 headed for sunny and 75 with light winds. Looks to be a beautiful day.

Never did make it to the gym or the bike ride yesterday. Got a cramp in my leg on Tuesday morning which bounced me out of bed. Muscles still sore this morning. Today I'll be doing laundry and packing. Headed to South Dakota in the morning for grandson's confirmation. Participation for the next several days will be spotty at best.

All stay safe.

Tom
Real warm and pretty.  Super busy as doing Town, County and personal [yard and garden work] work being squeezed in.

Later.
Hello Blue
Sun and 60s for the week. Nice April weather for lower Michigan.
Mostly just checking in. A few errands and some yard work lately, no trains.

Good morning, nice day, into the 90's now from here on, suppose to hit 101 on Friday, but not holding breath. Still, it's hot.

Somehow, the upcoming NFL draft is at the top of the list of every TV newscast in town. One station even has a countdown clock, ticking off seconds until the draft. "Why", you ask, well, the Arizona Cardinals have first pick and they are all guessing who they will pick. An new QB or maybe a WR, who really cares, but it is interesting the hype it has generated. They're even sending reporters there for on-the-spot, blow-by-blow of what's going on.... One question, suppose a team picks someone, and they don't like the salary offer or the team that pick them, what happens then????
Morning.  10 tomato plants out of the greenhouse and in the ground.  Cages around them.  Some have tomatoes on them.
Out the door to Human Services Board in Raleigh.
Have a good one.
Good morning everyone, "today is the day everyone is waiting for", says the TV lady. Huh, what's that all about? Well, it's the first day of the NFL draft, how stupid of me to forget that..... 35 35 Why is that such a big deal? Well, the Arizona Cardinals have been playing so badly that they get the first pick in the draft, that's why stations are sending newscasters to Nashville, and they're having a "draft party" down at the stadium. Hmmm, I was thinking that a "draft party" was one where they were serving beer on tap. My bad... Icon_rolleyes

Temps pushing 100 and suppose to get there by tomorrow.
Morning.  69 and cloudy.  Chance of storms later.  Off and on things for the day.  Not as rushed as all this week.

Sorry about Shortliner Jack.

Hope all OK.

Good morning all. Well, we did finally hit 100 yesterday around 2:00. I picked yesterday to install a spare tire in our van. Yeah, car companies are getting cheap, plus a spare adds weight and reduces that all important mileage goal they have to meet. Instead of a spare, we got a can of tire goop and an air pump. Been looking all over the Internet and junk yards since the spare tire kit for our van has been discontinued for a while now. The last place I looked was our local dealer who just happened to have one in stock. I asked for a discount and got one that was cheaper than what they were selling for on the Internet, that is, if anyone had any, which they didn't. Sales tax was also a lot cheaper than shipping charges, so it was a win-win. Only took about a hour, even in the blazing heat...
Morning.  64 and sunny.  High in the 70's.  Parade day so got to get my wave down pat.

Where is Mr. Tom?

DAZ, good look with the van thing.

Have a good one.
Hello Blue
Sun and 40s this morning. 50s for the day.
We got rain overnight but no snow like some places did.
A birthday party for youngest grandson(14) had to be held indoors yesterday as it was windy and cool.
