Sunday School this AM.  Breakfast at Firehouse Foods.  Resting now.  91 and sunny.  Farmer setout tobacco this AM in the field behind the house.

Where is TOM????

Have a good one.
Good morning, yeah Frank, where is Tom????? He didn't say anything about going away for a few days, he usually lets us know when he does....

According to the guessers, we're in for a, "cold front", temps to plummet into the 80's, with a good chance of rain tomorrow. Hard to believe that it's snowing in other parts of the country....
We went out to see nephew fly back to Alberta today. We arrived well before time (2:00) to see that the departure had been put off several hours. The staff said that the plane had left Calgary by that time. They'd had 15 cm of snow. We eventually met up but the departure time was after 7:00.
50's and 60's here - About right for spring.
Some rain in the forecast this week, mostly at night.
70's after next weekend.
Morning.  59 and cloudy.  That Yankee cold front dropped down.  A lot warmer tomorrow and through the rest of the week.  At least not raining.

Dr.'s appointments this afternoon and MRI this evening.

Tom???????

Have a good one.
Good morning all. Right now (7 AM) it's 78 outside. Still, only heading to the mid-80's. Good chance of rain late today and a smaller chance tomorrow. Should be pushing 100 by the end of the week. Got some time today to work a bit on my new layout. Also, working on a special project that you'll hear more about in the next few weeks. Waiting
Greetings, gang.

Sunny and 60.

Home from grandson's confirmation. Very busy weekend. Will post more tomorrow.

All stay safe.

Tom
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy with a few sprinkles in the area (and not the colorful ones that go on frosting). 46 now headed for 50. Chances of rain through Thursday morning.

A busy weekend and a busy month have drawn to a close. 8 states, one foreign country, and 3600 miles behind the wheel. Nothing else planned for a while. Grandson's confirmation went off very well. Very light traffic yesterday morning coming home from Rapid City. Passed 4 trucks and three cars between Rapid City and Chamberlain, SD. About 200 miles.

On the project list for today are laundry, grocery shopping, and if the grass dries out, lawn mowing.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning everyone, we had sprinkles too. Some areas got enough to call it rain, us, we could count the drops on the driveway. Still a very slight chance of some today, but I'm going to overrule those TV guessers and say, don't hold your breath waiting for rain.

Got a bit more done on my layout, I did a partial scene where I have a bridge going over a pond and couldn't do it after I laid the tracks, so it's about 80% done in that area. Now to continue on with my trackwork.
Morning.  78 and sunny.  Everything is growing in gardens.  Birds singing.  In and out of houses feeding little ones.

Tom, we did not remember you were going to be gone.  We got concerned.  Glad you are back safe and sound.

Hurt back and leg better.  Pain meds at night to sleep.  Tylenol during the day.  MRI was not too bad.  Now results. ???  Bet they have to go in and chip out calcium [lower few vertebra] pinching nerves.  We'll see.  Two good things.  Hips are in excellent shape for almost 73 year old.  Also, rest of back has plenty of spaces between vertebra.

Resting and not rushing around to meetings per Dr.  Budget meeting at Town Hall tonight.  That will be it.

Have a good one.
Forgot to mention earlier that last Wed. my credit card got hacked. Someone in Japan wanted to by $300 dollars of stuff from Adidas. Since I was leaving early Thursday morning I had to make a quick run to the bank for some extra cash since I don't have a second card. New card should be here this week. Thinking about getting a second card.

Tom
Happy May Day, gang.

42 and damp. Supposed to get to the low 50s with maybe some sunshine later.

Got most of the laundry caught up yesterday but no mowing. Just enough drizzle/mist to keep the grass too wet to mow. Maybe this afternoon. Today is big junk day in my part of town. Always entertaining to watch the scavengers cruising around looking for treasures in other people's trash.

All stay safe.

Tom
Good morning all. I guess it did rain here yesterday. I didn't realize it until I went outside and saw the van all pockmarked with mud. The TV news showed a downpour in some areas along with lightning and thunder. Either that didn't happen close enough for us to hear, or we really were sleeping hard.

Nothing on the agenda today, maybe I can get into my train room and lay a bit of track. Time to get the soldering iron out, I'm at that point now. Yeah, we now call the room that I have my layout in as my Train Room. It's just a small bedroom that we don't use for anything. Actually, we have three that we don't use since there's just the two of us and so far since we've been here, we've not had any overnight guests. It's hard to get anyone to visit us when it's 120 degrees in the shade... Icon_rolleyes
Good morning from the land of Buckeyes..Not much to report but,I met another modeler/railfan here at the "old folks" home..That makes three of us. One guy enjoys refurbishing old 50/60 era engines like Varney, Revell, Mantua, Hobbytown and Penn-Line. He's currently working on a Varney Lil' Joe and will letter for John Allen's G&D. He has a Varney "Old Lady" that looks brand new and is lettered for Frank Ellison's Delta Lines.
I shall have a cup and a look over the forum.

Have a good'n!
Afternoon all.  92 and sunny.  Ultrasound on legs this AM.  Blood flowing fine.  About to be told lower two vertebra is closed up with calcium and pinching nerves.  Think I know what that means.  Hurt leg and foot still looks horrible but better.

Glad all are OK.
