Hello Blue
No global warming here. This weather is crap.
It's suppose to be 60/70s this time of year but todays high will be 50 and cloudy w/rain later.
It sucks for a Mothers Day.
S.J.
Howdy, suppose to rain, saw some water specks on the windshield from overnight, but nothing since. Dropped my wife off at my son's house (Duffy) for a Mothers Day get together lunch. Beyond that, not sure where we'll go for dinner. Most places are going to be crowded, got about 45 emails, all wanting us to go to their restaurant for Mothers Day. Think I'll just rest....

Major screw-up on my special project, had to reset back to about the 50% point, but back on it. I'm hoping that it's ready (again) in a few days.....
We are on the island of Mallorca again with a bit chilly weather. They celebrate 500 years anniversary of the moslem/Christian conflict. A small Spanish navy ship arrived in the tiny harbor of Port de Soller this morning. It is hidden at the very left behind the wall.

Later that day under our balcony. Action and fun

Greetings, gang.

It was sunny and 35 when I got out of bed this morning. Right now it's up to 41 with an anticipated high in the mid 60s. Our very good friends at the National Weather Service are predicting a high in the upper 80s for Thursday. SJ - take heart. Warmer weather is on the way.

Quiet day yesterday. Watched the F1 race and old movies. Went for a walk after supper. Busy day today. Need to run to Walmart for a few things. Then to the gym. After lunch I need to mow and then will probably go for a bike ride.

Where's Frank? No word from him since Thursday. Hope all is well.

Reinhard - looks to be a beautiful place.

All stay safe.

Tom
Thanks Tom.  Been busy as a cat in a cream factory.  70 degrees and blue skies.  Seems yesterday's severe storms came this morning around 10 AM.  Tornado 5 miles or so east of us.  Schools went into tornado drill mode.  We had no winds and a big deluge of rain.  Lasted 5 minutes.  Then another weaker line came through that was short.  Farther east and south of us, another tornado, wind damages and hail.  Hail broke out sky lights at a neighboring Walmart.  Seems its headed to the Northeast.  Some may get snow!!!!

Now rest and relax and TV.
Hi all, a bit late as well. Glad everyone is OK, the storms back east worry me, just too much going on there. Prayers for everyone there.

Our weather is going in the typical direction. Temps should be in the high 90's starting tomorrow with 100+ in the forecast. Some rain possible by the end of the week, but nothing like back east. We had a little splash yesterday, so light that I could actually count the drops.

Major advance on my special project, in the home stretch now..... 2285_
Went to Stratford for the Merry Wives of Windsor today. Reset to 1950s Windsor, Ont.

Return trip, we had the wipers on every setting but superfast.
Good morning all, temps today in the high 90's, just about normal for this time of the year. They've moved the rain from the end of this week to mid next week. I wonder how they manage to do that.... Icon_rolleyes

A busy day today, a few errands then switching between my special project and one that I just started for my garage workshop. We've been in this house for over a year now and I still don't have anyplace to put some of my small tools in.  I should have both projects finished by this weekend, including a set of tool drawers. Building them out of MDF. Lots of fine dust, more than plywood, but no wood splinters in the fingers either.... 2285_
Greetings, gang.

Cloudy and 54 right now. The rain has stopped after depositing about 3/4 inch. Skies should clear soon and the high for today is supposed to be about 70. Predicting upper 80s for Thursday.

Busy day yesterday. Went to Walmart and the gym in the morning in the afternoon I got the yard mowed. After supper went for a bike ride but cut that short as I didn't want to lose supper on the bike trail. Lesson learned.

Slept really late this morning. got bounced out of bed by a foot cramp at about 5:30. Considered getting up but thought I'd try going back to sleep. Next thing I knew it was almost 7:30 so everything is running late today. May go to the gym this morning but instead wait until the sun is out and go for a longer bike ride. Also need to get laundry done.

Frank - glad to hear all is well.

Don - looking forward to whatever you have planned.

All stay safe.

Tom
Busy day again.  Spent morning digging a 8" deep and 6 1/2 foot round hole.  OH my aching back.

Wifey planting shrubs and flowers around it.  Water irises and other water plants.  Girl with bowl spilling water will be inside too.  Then fish. Icon_rolleyes

Dermatologist said I had pretty skin. Icon_e_surprised

Later.
Last day in sunny Spain will be spend at the pool. The festival on Monday was exceptional nice and troublefree. No drunks no crime just lots of happy people on the street and beach. The little town of Port de Soller is a gem of the busy island of Mallorca.
Good morning everybody, crazy weather all over the place. Today we're suppose to hit 100, by Friday, we could be back into the 70's. I see flooding and tornadoes on the news, snow up north in places and the NYC reporter was wearing a heavy coat and gloves.

Reinhard , great place to vacation at, too bad it's a bit further than I would want to travel. You're right, too many vacation spots are now marred by violence and crime. Glad you're enjoying your stay.

Frank, looks like a great project, let's see some photos when it's finished...

Speaking of projects, just a bit more work and some photos, and you'll all know what my secret project is all about.
Greetings, gang.

Very foggy and 47 this morning. High for today is supposed to be in the mid 70s. Visibility is about two blocks but should burn off fairly quickly.

Never made it anywhere yesterday. Felt under the weather all day. Better today. Nothing planned yet.

Frank - we would like to see pictures when that project is finished.

All stay safe.

Tom
Morning.  Started chilly but nice now.  Fix back garden.  Front one doing great.  No meetings until late.

Have a good one.
Good morning everyone, got a bit warm here yesterday, it did get to 100 for the second time this year, but today we're back into the 80's. Still warm enough that this will be the last weekend for skiing up in Flagstaff, the longest season for the Snow Bowl, ever. I guess it's too late this season for me to go look for my skiing gear. Nope

OK, time to break out the news, that "special project" that I've been working on, well you can look it over right here. We're finally getting into celebrating our 10th anniversary of Big Blue and would hope you will participate. We have a few more surprises in store, but for now, go take a look and see what you can do to help support Big Blue and get something back in return..... Applause
