Might make it a little hard to use though! Big Grin

Using a fairly complex quadratic equation and a bit of calculus, I was able to solve this problem of time and space. it's very obvious, I wind up going 160 more times a day than usual... Misngth
Why didn't I think of that? Such an obvious solution! Big Grin
Just an added touch in memory of my wife. Before her bout with dementia, she enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. She did one for me that has an old train going over a trestle, along with few old patriotic symbols. It managed to survive four moves intact, and so yesterday I was able to frame and hang it by my layout. I was going to put my backdrop up, but this is more significant.

That's a great way to honor and remember Peggy. It makes a wonderful background.

Just a minor intermediate stage, it apparently snowed in Santa Maria. Unlike the folks over in Appalachia with their blue snow, ours is white. Worship

I am told that the road crews are on the job cleaning up as we speak.

I hope your crew makes better time than my guys!

Right now they're patching potholes and hoping that it's warm enough to lay new asphalt.  One of them had the bright idea to fill the potholes with water and let it freeze. He's the same one that took his rowboat out with only one oar. Waiting
Getting a bit more organized, built a cabinet to hold my paint and a few other things that can fit. I just used some scrap plywood and MDF and bought two drawer slides. A decent use of leftovers from past projects, or so I thought. Just one important lesson that I learned from this, don't work with warped plywood even at no cost. The sides on this cabinet are bowed, it's hard to tell unless you're trying to put the pieces together, then it turns into a miserable mistake that even the strongest of clamps can't overcome. The bigger mistake was buying it that way.

Better be careful Don, that neatness stuff can become addictive and the next thing you know you are spending all your time organizing and not modeling. Someone once said neatness is the sign of a sick mind and I tend to agree! Big Grin

I get that, just that I didn't have room to dump my paints every time I needed one. If I showed you my workbench and my desk and even my layout, you'll understand that neatness will never get the better of me. Nope
Time to do some real stuff. I've got a structure dedicated to each of my family members, but I have a few new ones. I have a grandson-in-law, and soon, a great-grandson. I also need something for my daughter-in-law, so I have one that I'm going to scratchbuild for them all. Not sure about the name for the sporting goods store though. I'm trying to combine Troy (father) and Clayton (son), and have several variations to think about. Anyway, here is my starter sketch:

Nice design!

Thank you kind sir. Well, if nothing else, it's simple, nothing fancy, but then again, nothing on my layout is fancy....
Hard for fancy to be believable!
