You've pretty much started your project, but I doubt that anyone would object if you continued as part of the challenge. So far we've got four into it, and we're always looking for more along the way.

I will be please to participate but the aera of my layout is 9.68 square feet.

I don't think any of us will be bothered by an extra 8.68 square feet-or-so...for all we know, it's probably something to do with metric measurements, which many Americans eschew, and this Canadian (even though Canada is officially "metric") isn't overly fond of either.

Those tunnel entrances look great!! Can't wait to see what you do with them.

I have done almost of the side of buildings. I start to paint them also.

I have still the SIDI FONTANA MOROCCO layout, it was supposed to be exhibit in Germany and Belgium but with the COVID, it's cancelled. I will exhibit in November in the UK than I will retire it and it will go to his new owner.

I have nearly finished the building.

I try to balance between what we expect in model railroading and strip cartoon. I'm quite happy with the final result except for the roof of the church, railways station and barn. I don't know if I have to change the color or the material (replace the wood by corrugated roof or by shingle). If you have any idea, I will be happy to share me your opinion.

Hi, Franck. Looking good so far. My only thought on the roof is that with a western/southwestern setting you may want to rule out the corrugated as it would tend to be a heat sink. On the other hand since it's half cartoon you could probably get away with it. Just my thoughts.

I think that the barn and the church both look fine the way they are, but other than the photo representation of the station, and the model with what appears to be an unpainted roof, I didn't otherwise see it amongst the photos. I'd alter the roof on the station to look more like the one in the photo-version, with the boards (or perhaps shingles) in horizontal rows, lapped atop one another.

Other than that, everything else looks great.

Thank you for the idea. For the roof of the church, railways station, school and barn, I will do it with Tar-Paper Roof and corrugated roof. For the the corrugated roof, I had to wait the end of the covid to order etched product.

The barn has his roof with Tar-Paper Roof. I had to weather it. For the roof of the church and railways station I will do it in corrugated steel.

I add barrier and tombs for the church.
