has anyone else been unable to get onto <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.steaminthewoods.com">www.steaminthewoods.com</a><!-- w --> ? i've been trying to get on there to check out some 4-6-0's to build and the site appears to have a broken link! i dont know whats going on,i sure hope it isnt gone forever,that was one of very few sites with that massive amount of free images,and one of the best logging resources on the web.--josh
Site's down, but it brought me across the site of an outstanding modeler who is no longer with us.
kinda sucks the steam site is don,that was the one good image resource for logging steam....but it sounds like you might have found shamus's website....he was such a nice guy,and an amazing modeler to boot.--josh

aww man! that sucks! that was the only site i knew of with everything a logging modeler needed in one place. oh well,i guess ill have to start looking elsewhere.but this definatly throws a monkey wrench into my plans....thanks sumpter for the update.--josh
In a post in the 4L Yahoo group, the owner of the Steam in the Woods site stated that the site had been pulled because he had found people copying the photos from the web site and selling them on eBay.

That sucks. He had some great stuff. Its too bad that a few bad apples had to go and ruin things and take advantage of this guy.
