Thought I would jump on the locomotive roster band wagon... here are my current locos, project machines and daily runners. Sorry for many parts being outa-focus. I do not have a macro lens for my camera.

Stay tuned this summer as more locomotives get added to the roster... planned acquisitions include Kato RDC2, Intermountain F7B, Intermountain FP9A's, Intermountain F9B's, Kato Mikado, Bachmann Heavy Mountain
Hi Luke,

Great set of photos Thumbsup nice to see N scale roster .. my favorite has to be the Kato SP Daylight Goldth
Nice looking roster.
Thanks!

The Daylight is a personal fav as well. Mostly because that steamer is just deadly on this layout! It holds the curves wonderfuly at speed, and can haul more cars up the 2% grade than my Challenger can! In fact, the couplers give before the Daylight does.

But I think for the CN units, my Bachmann Mountain in 6060 getup, or the RS13 are my fav locos.

I also love my shay. Oh how I love my shay!
Hello Luke,

Great pics, but then steamers are Soooo photogenic, and we all love Shays... grin.

Although it doesn't do much about 'depth of field' I use a variety of magnifying lens, spectacle glass and jewellers loupes to give me different 'close up' shots. I just hold the additional lens in front of my camera.

Tony.
Today the PSE has added a second piece of traction... and it's special.

Ladies and gentleman, I present to you the Canadian Pacific 1801 E8A built by Broadway Limited Imports.

This loco is sound equipped and sounded bloody fantastic in the store, and it's LOUD! I haven't hooked it up yet at home, as i'm currently rebuilding the layout, but it's a fascinating locomotive!

I have also added an intermountain F7B to my layout, but will photo that one later.
Some nice equipment you have there. Cheers

I'm just put an order in for 2 more Heavy Mountains from Bachmann. One will get the U1f treatment, the other will remain stock.

thanks!

yes, those diesels do look splendid. I wasn't a huge fan until I started in the hobby, and now I'm starting to appreciate the earlier models more like the E8, F7, F9, PA's, GP high hoods, and RS series.

The J-Class has been retired... but this U4a seems to have appeared from nowhere...
