Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - mountaingoatgreg - 04-22-2011 well some progress.... Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - jonte - 04-23-2011 Very effective backscene, and shows the difference that curved corners make to the overall scene. Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - mountaingoatgreg - 04-23-2011 a little more progress Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - Gary S - 04-23-2011 I never tire of seeing your backdrop scenes, Greg. I'll go on record as saying they are the best mountain scene backdrops I've ever run across. Superb. I also enjoy seeing photos of everyone's layouts in the "as is" state, with allthe clutter and tools and such everywhere. Looking forward to more progress. Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - mountaingoatgreg - 04-24-2011 Gary: Thanks, I have been enjoying your experimenting in backdrops very much and plan to borrow some of your ideas in the future. As for the clutter, the disadvantage of having your train room and work room be the same room seems that nothing is ever clean. I am glad that you enjoy mt mess I have finished my backdrop for now, I still will need to blend the foreground to the background but that is a ways off. I can now move on to sub roadbed!!! I am glad that you enjoy mt mess Greg, the downside of having a seperate workroom from the train room is that instead of having one messy area, you have two! Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - mountaingoatgreg - 04-28-2011 THANKS GUYS!!!! I have really enjoyed working on the backdrop and it sure does make the room look bigger!!! I am really looking to getting the subroadbed down so I get the workbench cleared off and get back to "work" on some of my modeling projects. Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - Steve - 05-01-2011 ABSOLUTELY AWESOME WORK!!!!!!! Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - iis612 - 05-01-2011 Your backdrop is sweet!! Matt Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - mountaingoatgreg - 05-02-2011 Thanks guys!!! Ok onto the subroadbed, although not as dramatic as the backdrop a vital step in completing the layout... Re: SP&S Shelf Layout - Gary S - 05-02-2011 Looking good as always Greg. I see you are using some screws with your benchwork, but it also looks like you used some nails too? |
