May 1st is the 50th anniversary of the creation of Amtrak---here's a shot taken 5/1/2018 as the daily Amtrak heads through Bayview Junction in my hometown.

Amtrak’s “Midnight Blue” anniversary locomotive arrived in Chicago on Monday. (Bob Johnston).This is the same locomotive (#100) that I spotted in my hometown in 2018.

2/23/2021--- a pair of ex-SOO SD60's were part of this three locomotive consist as CP255 north passed through Kinnear Yard.

Finally---it's only taken 6 years but the Ontario Gov't. has fullfilled it's promise to provide all day GO service to my hometown---there must be an election on the horizon  Waiting Icon_rolleyes.Starting Aug.8th local railfans will be able to get regular shots like these down at the CN Stuart yard.

Lucky catch today at Kinnear Yard.I received an E-mail that one of CP's Military Heritage units (Army Arid Zones) #7021 was on train 246.This is the fourth unit I've caught---one more to go.
