Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - Selector - 11-15-2009 Very nice, Tom, and easily modelled. Love the 'weathering'. -Crandell Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - eightyeightfan1 - 11-15-2009 Spring St. Bridge here in Torrington, Ct. Built by the King Bridge Co. of Cleveland OH in 1903 for the New Haven Railroad. Here's the King Bridge website. You may see a similar picture posted there. http://www.kingbridgeco.com/ Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - railohio - 11-15-2009 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dr. Wayne, I love that second shot up from the bottom! You know, I "found" that bridge at the perfect sun angle, and never got a train until it was too late... Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - TrainNut - 11-16-2009 We go camping up in that area a lot and so we go back and forth underneath that bridge several times a day between the camping ground and Williams. It was only a matter of time before I was able to capture the shot with an engine on top. Tricky part there was that the engines are still carrying quite a bit of speed before they get bogged down on the grade and my digital camera has got a pretty good lag from the time you push the button till the time it actually takes the picture. A bit of luck was necessary to get the shot. Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - viperman - 11-17-2009 Do the bridges in this thread necessarily have to be railroad related? Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - TrainNut - 11-17-2009 I guess they should be since it's a train site... however, I'm open to it and it's my thread so if you've got some, let's see 'em! Besides, I've also got some that aren't that I was wanting to share but hadn't yet. Re: Bridges, bridges everywhere! - railohio - 11-17-2009 So how about some railroad photos taken from bridges? ![]()

I have a few pictures that I took at Meadowdale International Raceway recently, of an old bridge which is now just exposed beams. For the 99.9% of you out there who have never heard of it: http://meadowdaleraceway.homestead.com/ and http://forums.autosport.com/index.php?showtopic=114792&st=0. Actually, you can see my pictures in that last link, on page 2 under the screen name SaturnVUEguy |
