I know, I know!! I'ts been awhile. I am slowly but surely making progress on the layout. I have been busy making "test runs" over what track I have laid down.
Yes, when I saw that engine repair shop, I just had to have it, and since I had a $50.00 budget, I grabbed it!! (It was only $8.00!!)
I have a question, since the bottom is glued on, and the doors are glued in place, how can I safely remove the doors, so that I can have them open? I'd like to be able to actually run some locos, etc, into the shop.

As for the doors on the structure, there is a CA debonder that works, depending on what sort of glue was used to assemble the building. An easy tap with a small hammer may loosen them too.
But the real reason I'm replying is to ask you how that show was in Galax. That's where I was born (34 years ago). Also, while he was still able to get around, my grandfather from Pulaski would occasionally get over there to see how their layout was progressing.
