That's the Eggliner (engine) Not too bad an engine either Smile Smile

Eggliner.....Well, that answers that question!

I was beginning to think you had R-two-C-twopeeo-D zip, back there as an RC helper........or possibly a battery operated pencil sharpener. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin 357

Yes Mikey, I'm on my way to my room now. Wink Icon_twisted Icon_lol

Well - they turned out a bit "nicer" than I expected.... Smile The 2 white "frames" are from the white gondola. I have a bit of sanding to do before i paint and weather them...

This is coming along nicely. So the two cars will be permanently coupled together with a "draw bar" and the couplers on the trucks will stick out at each end?

Yeah - as long as the 'screws" hold hehehehe

but I'll have to put a swivel in the draw bar for my 48" curves Smile but yes - permanently coupled

That's strange, I didn't know "wood planks" rusted!!! :?: :?: :?:

You fooled me! 357 357

A swivel in the drawbar :?: as short as those cars are, if a drawbar was the length of what couplers would be you shouldn't need a swivel.......especially on 48" radius.. I'm :? :?

Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 03-13-2010

it's "Stone" craft paint - makes it look like it's dirty "beat up" gray

Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - Sumpter250 - 03-14-2010

"Stone" craft paint.......I just have to remember that this is G scale.
One of the interesting, yet difficult things here is that there hasn't been a whole lot of "the usual" shown in G scale............a G scale grain of sand, is a Z scale mountain.
Weathering, and detailing is going to be very interesting, done in so large a scale. This may prove to be one of the most enlightening projects in the challenge.
