Anyone remember those "piker" passenger cars in HO? Those ultra short characatures that rode on one truck? I think you have a G-scale one on the end of your train! That's the Eggliner (engine) Not too bad an engine either Eggliner.....Well, that answers that question! I was beginning to think you had R-two-C-twopeeo-D zip, back there as an RC helper........or possibly a battery operated pencil sharpener. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes Mikey, I'm on my way to my room now. ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 02-12-2010 Sumpter250 Wrote:Eggliner.....Well, that answers that question! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 02-25-2010 Well - they turned out a bit "nicer" than I expected.... ![]() Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - Sumpter250 - 02-26-2010 This is getting interesting! Can't wait to see the finished product. ![]() ![]() Reminds me that I have to get around to building the A-B-A "Hustlers", and a string of "Pikers", and an "Oscar". ![]() Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 03-13-2010 They've RUSTED!!!! So the two cars will be permanently coupled together with a "draw bar" and the couplers on the trucks will stick out at each end? You fooled me! ![]() ![]() A swivel in the drawbar :?: as short as those cars are, if a drawbar was the length of what couplers would be you shouldn't need a swivel.......especially on 48" radius.. I'm :? :? Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 03-13-2010 Too Funny!!! Thanks!!!! Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - nachoman - 03-13-2010 Whoa! what did you do to those trucks!? Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - TrainNut - 03-13-2010 That's what I was jest wonderin' as well. Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - ngauger - 03-13-2010 it's "Stone" craft paint - makes it look like it's dirty "beat up" gray Re: N~Gauger's 2010 Spring Bash Challenge - Sumpter250 - 03-14-2010 "Stone" craft paint.......I just have to remember that this is G scale. One of the interesting, yet difficult things here is that there hasn't been a whole lot of "the usual" shown in G scale............a G scale grain of sand, is a Z scale mountain. Weathering, and detailing is going to be very interesting, done in so large a scale. This may prove to be one of the most enlightening projects in the challenge. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
