This has me a bit worried. If the site closes, what happens to wonderful collections like Robin at his best? There wold probably be some legal problem if we imported them wholesale. Can we download threads to our own computers? Can they be printed? I tried printing a thread from another forum and it came without pictures.

I'd like to see the tips & trick thread brought over from the old house , there was a LOT of good info there that came from MANY people , it's a shame to not have that resource here.

To print the entire article with pictures is in your computer settings, you need to click on print background and all will print.

Re: The New Admin's Credentials - RonP - 12-21-2008

If someone could confirm they recorded the site I would be happy.

I see no problem with saving Robyns work. We cross post all the time in other forums. 219

It was the academy that single handedly taught me more then any source. And 9 times out of 10 it was robyns post that taught me.

I absolutely concur that Robyns work has to be saved. Surely someone out there knows someone with the legal right to post it here or to move it here.
I'm fairly new here but I have read enough about Robyn to know this work was all to be shared, but posting here must be done with some sort of legitimacy. In the meantime someone with more computer smarts then I have could perhaps save the stuff on their own computer for their own personal use.
If I understand correctly there may be items on other forums as well.

Please if someone can use the program webhttrack. This will make a large file archive of the site currently as it is. If you need assistance with the setting let me know. Again I have a bandwidth limit so cannot do it myself.

BTW forums are public domain, and crowdgather owns the name, not the members projects. We can post our projects anywhere. even verbatom.

How in the world do you unsubscribe from the old Zealot forum? Anyone know? I tried for almost an hour and it seems like the only way to do that is to get kicked off for a violation of their TOS. I simply want to unsubscribe, but it's like they hold your membership hostage. Anyone able to sucessfully unsubscribe their membership over there?

If you want to delete your username, you have to request that. But, you don't really have to do anything but to stop posting there if that's what you want. If you have threads that you've subscribed to, just go to your user CP and unsubsribe to any threads or forums that you are subscribed to.

Dave:
I beg to differ with you! I looked at them last night, and even posted a couple of comments!! I didn't even know they were there, just ran across them quite by "accident." Goldth

Re: The New Admin's Credentials - jmarksbery - 12-22-2008

I went over to get the photos of Robins but it appears tons have already been lost. Robin did a gold mine that was named after me, I would have given my left --- to have received it!
