Re: My Port Able Railway (HO Scale) - RobertInOntario - 09-23-2011 Just saw this thread and skimmed through parts of it. This layout looks great! I have a very similar one -- it's approx. 6' long by 3.5' wide in HO (or British 00). I have two loops of track, one inside the other. I've managed this by using some tight curves, i.e. 14.6" radius. The layout works well. I once posted some pix of it on this forum but the scenery & some details have changed since then... maybe I'll try to post some new ones. Running British trains helps a fair bit with such a small layout with tight curves because (in general) British trains are smaller than North American ones. The layout works even better when I run early-twentieth century (or earlier) trains because these were even smaller -- lots of 0-6-0's and 4-4-0's, etc., and 4- or 6-wheeled coaches.
