Your comment about your doctor's promise of "6 weeks of severe pain" made me think of the old joke about the guy who went to the dentist. He got into the chair, leaned forward, got a very firm grip on the dentist's crotch and said "We're not going to hurt each other too much, are we Doc"? 8-)

Good to hear you made it through relatively "unharmed". Let's hope it stays that way...And do follow your Dr's indications. We all tend to put aside those indications when we start to feel "good", only to find later that the Doc was right.... :oops:
