For a wide selection of planes and many other things to build check out this outfit.

OPoop------------ thats not their "Home" addy but you can get there from here.!

What fiddlers green is an outfit that makes downloadable paper models of all all sorts.
They are not ( probably ) in HO or any MR scale --more like 1/25 --but after you get the material it would be a simple matter to have it reduced to what ever scale you want. Here are some pics of a Lockheed Vega that the builder reduced to 1/72 . I think it cost about 6 --7 $ to download.

Hare is a sample of how they look when downloaded from Fiddlers.

Les how much does the plane weight? I've seen people stick a peice of piano wire in the end of the wing and the other end of the wire is stuck into a mountain side so there is no wires above or below the plane and you can't see the wire coming out of the wing because it's on the oppisite side you are viewing it from. However I would imagine there is a limit as to how much weight it could support.

Re: Something a little different - Lester Perry - 07-30-2012

That is a good idea but I fear it would require a rather large wire. I will investigate though. Now I need to find some, duh a piano store or tuner.

Re: Something a little different - Steamtrains - 07-30-2012

I happened to ride one of those (DC-3) back when I was a young'un. A flight from Chicago's Midway Field to Madison, WI. It was the last leg of our family's immigration move from Mexico. Goldth
