Order is on it's way. Did order TICHY TRAINS 8227 from Walthers via my German LHS to save oversee shipping cost. Will take some time ..... as usual Re: Small H0 Truck models of the 1980s - faraway - 03-28-2013 faraway Wrote:Got three stake body Athearn F850 (the only available at this time) for my 198x scenery. One simple modification was to remove three sides and get a flat bad. ... I like the flat bed so much I moved it from the F850 on a SceneMaster 4900 base when I switched back from the 1980+ to 2005+ last week. Re: Small H0 Truck models of the 1980s - tomustang - 03-28-2013 Trident had a decent 80s Chevy Fleetside truck if you want a smaller delivery vehicle. Here's a link to show them http://www.reynaulds.com/catalog/dept_671.aspx Re: Small H0 Truck models of the 1980s - faraway - 03-29-2013 shortliner Wrote:Reinhard, the plumbers truck is available in at least two other liveries for small freight deliveries - there are also some small Mitsubishi freight trucks from Japan labled for Canter - I'll try to fins a link I had another look after the current models of the Canter to be used on my now 2005+ layout theme. A German seller offers them as a special sale for 1.25€ (about 1.50$) only at ebay. They have not the original packing! I assume they are from some Mitsubishi promotion program. That might be of interest at least for all Europeans if you get multiple to offset the shipping cost. I don't know enough about makes and models and what's available commercially, but frankly, Renzenberger vans are a big gap in HO vehicles. I suppose you could get away with any white van model, though. Re: Small H0 Truck models of the 1980s - jwb - 03-29-2013 Looks as though Trident does a plain white Chevy van, I might get one. http://www.reynaulds.com/products/Trident/900411.aspx Re: Small H0 Truck models of the 1980s - faraway - 03-29-2013 jwb Wrote:Looks as though Trident does a plain white Chevy van, I might get one. http://www.reynaulds.com/products/Trident/900411.aspxI have got two of them labeled for "Gray Line" in red color and two more Trident.
