Thanks Val.
Remember, it is always open for a layout visit, anytime you want.

Same goes for any Big Blue member passing through the area.

Hey Lynn, that is becuase I just made it. Icon_lol

Val and I are old friends, she has visited the CVR before, when it was in the old location.

The CVR started in the corner of my living room, then graduated into it's own room. 2285_

Thanks Will - I usually get up your way a couple times during the summer. It would be great to see the new improved CVRR -- and you too! Smile

BTW, do you have any interest in the Kitchener Waterloo Double Headers Tour? It's on Mar. 28.

Val

Re: The Credit Valley Railway circa 1900 - Will_Annand - 02-21-2009

Val, the Double Header tour is on my list of :hey: "I should see that" things to do.

Not sure if I am going to be able to or not. Would mean closing the shop for a Saturday and I only usually do that when I go to train shows to sell. Icon_lol

Well gang, I worked in the train room on and off today.

I finally finished the backdrop. All 8 sections are up and secured.
Also I did some more on the "terra-forming" most of the rough landscaping is done.

The website has been updated. There are 14 new shots taken today.

Here is a shot of one of the new sections.

The landscape is still rough, no river is running yet and the trestle needs reworking, but hey, it's a start. 219

More than I did today.

Looks good so far.

Like you said Will , a good start. I believe I see the stacked tile method, I could never get that method to look right for me.The backdrop looks very good. The bridge looks terrific, looks like your going to have a nice sized gorge.

Re: The Credit Valley Railway circa 1900 - Will_Annand - 02-22-2009

Thanks Lynn.

Well for the record books...

At the track level, the gorge is 60cm wide, at the bottom of the gorger it is 35cm and from the rocks to the front is 55cm.

Is that Forks of the Credit? It's going to be interesting when done.
