I have three Lundy Studio kits I am considering. Or do I go with the Rolling Stock kit build. I have a ton of Accurail and a bunch of Atlas Trainman kts to pick from. One kit would not seem enough for the summer. I guess he bridge area would fall under layout addition. I am glad we have two weeks to decide. Well, there's no reason why you couldn't enter the same category more than once, or enter in more than one category. Whatever pleases you and whatever your time allows, there should be no restrictions. As for adding a photo category, I don't know, that's kind of like mixing apples and oranges. If there's enough interest, we could run a separate photo challenge at the same time. Just thinking out loud, but looking for feedback. RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - ezdays - 05-19-2024 Here's a link to today's "Wizard of Id" comic strip. I thought it was kind of ironic: https://www.gocomics.com/wizardofid/2024/05/19 RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - TMo - 05-19-2024 That seals the deal then.... it's the fickle finger of fate at work! RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - jim currie - 05-20-2024 one category could be finishing a stalled project. We have had challenges like this in the past, but only as a separate challenge. The idea behind these challenges is to get us off our dead butts and to do something, so we just might add that as another category. RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - Amalynn - 05-22-2024 I definitely like that stalled project idea. I’m not sure if I will have the time to enter any of them now that I’m back to work. I’ll be watching for a photo contest in case one should pop up because I can definitely get in to one of those. If not, no biggie. RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - tompm - 06-17-2024 Did we ever decide on an end date other than the end of summer which I will loosely interpret as the end of September. The challenge says: Quote:The contest will begin June 1, and end the first day September,. That gives us all three months to take our vacation time and actually work on and complete the projects. RE: Anyone up for a 2024 challenge? - tompm - 07-02-2024 For my version of the kit build structure I am going to do Walthers Cornerstone Subway Entrance. |
