Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - Charlie B - 12-23-2010 Hey Bil The Lamy picture was taken 2/11/2005 with a Canon Powershot G5, 1 sec exposure and the lens at F8. It's all on the photo.. Excellent modeling and photography as well as photoshop. Charlie Re: Watch out! Canon made a Powershot "G5?" Hmmmmmm! I have an Canon Powershot A410 and the lens is not adjustable! ... what's that tugging on my pants leg?
Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - MasonJar - 12-24-2010 biL, The G-series is Canon's advanced point-n-shoot (advanced in that I believe it is the only one of their series that can be completely controlled manually). I had the Canon G2, then G5. I beleive the series is up to the G-10 or -11. I now have a Nikon D90 DSLR, but the G-5 is/was great for model work since you could put it right on/into the layout for perspective you did not get from the aisle. Andrew Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - Charlie B - 12-24-2010 Bil When you right click on a digital photo with a later Windows system and go to Advance properties all of the information is there. I like it because if you keep your date and time set correctly you have the correct date for the picture. Even if you can't adjust a lens manually the camera can in most cases. Sometimes this information stays with the picture no mater how it is altered. So cell phones are geotagging pictures as well, and could lead to a major privacy problem. Even the Army is concerned about this. Even my old camera from 2001 tagged the pictures. Charlie Re: Watch out! Black & whites! - cn nutbar - 01-06-2011 Re: Watch out! I added the background, spills and such with a photo software. I think it was "gimp" but I am not sure about. |
