My first blue caboose slaved to the end of my mixed freight heads into White Haven. As with the prototype, this one began its life as a Pennsy. The three bridge sections are Micro Engineering Company 50' open deck models. I remember putting them together in or around 2007 and griping about some of the small detail pieces - especially the reinforcment bars on the lower flange sections of the I-beams, but they really show up nicely in this photo, so I'm glad I stuck with it. Probably goes for a lot of things on my layout - when you consider the ridiculous amount of time we spend on this hobby, it's no wonder our spouses think we're all bats.
