Wow guys thanks so much for the track plans, some really nice concepts. As I mentioned in the earlier posts I think the urban concept will work better for what I want. I decided to go with a very similar track plan to that on the German site with the whole thing contained on the one board. I made a start yesterday, will take some pictures and post them in a bit.

I know the it looks crowded but the whole thing will be concreted in as it will be an urban setting, it is more track than I would normally go for but I think it will work as the buildings I am going to place on the layout will brake up the view.

He had a 15" x 5 foot baseboard, with the option for a 2-3 foot removable switching lead in addition. First post in thread.

But he has decided to do a more urban layout - which is cool. Urban is my favorite.
