Starting to look like a building now!

Yeah, I agree.  I do like that shade of grey you've used, too...very suitable for that weathered-wood look. Applause Applause

Like the aging, looks like old weathered barnwood. Thumbsup

Saw an episode of "Barnwood Builders" the other day, where he sprayed new wood with a stain and in a few hours it blended in with the other 200 year-old beams.

I've done that - it works great!!
Also, like my last project, watered down India Ink looks good too.

The side and back walls are done.

The back wall has a hole in the bottom for the couplers to clear through without hitting the wall.

Yeah, that's some innovative siding that you're using, too.

My builds are currently stalled due to other commitments, but I hope to get back to them soon.

The roof is on and so is the roof of the awning in the front

The track is set in place so we could see how this is all going to look when it's completed.

Ah ha, nice comfy place to rest, looking good...

Ballast and paint the track and you will be done!

Well, it's taken me a while to "get it", but I finally see it....an optical dillusion of supposedly big cars in a small building.  Very nicely-done, Mikey! Applause Applause Applause

I worked a bit last night and finished most of what I set out to do.
  • Design building - Done
  • Draw building - Done
  • Decide on materials to build structure - (Paint sticks and spare pieces of lumber) - Done
  • Build structure - Done
  • Add the tracks inside the shed - Done
  • Isolate the 2 tracks electrically and connect "power lead" switches so both engines don't come out at the same time Eek - Done
  • Add switches to layout - Done
These will be added later:
Connect air tubes and toggles to operate switch machines
Add position LED lights to switch frogs
Light building - More LED's

Floor details (tools, work benches etc) - No room for floor details  Sad  Nope Nope
