It's not real copper, it's paper with a copper like foil applied to one side of it.
So it's all just glued down to the cardstock roof panels.

Hi everyone, well I have finally finished building this Dorothy's/ Brynnlee's house, with the completion of the back porch and by adding the last of the details.
Like the basement doors on the backwall and the electrical meter & mast on the sidewall.
I still need to make up some sort of base for the house to sit on, that I can attach my LED distribution board to the underside of the base.
To do the final hook up of the LED lighting for the interior/exterior of this house.
I will post some photos of what it looks like when it's all lit up when I have that done.
So here's a look at the back porch and the other details that I mentioned.

Fantastic job Greg, I'm a big believer in details and this model has it all. I'm envious, this kit is available in N scale, but I doubt that it will have the level of detail yours has, plus all that you did above and beyond.
I just might spring for a simpler kit that they offer, just to get a feel for them, but I still would like to put one of these together.

Ya know, I may be wrong. I did a search on their site for N scale kits and wound up with the same part numbers as HO. I'm guessing HO because their site does not show items as scale specific.

When you mentioned it was available in N scale, I was surprised because I never thought that SS Ltd. ever offered anything in N scale.
I have a couple more SS Ltd. kits kicking around, the drug store and the victorian station so I just might build one of those next.

Yeah, I typed "N scale models" in their search box and up comes a whole bunch of kits. The same ones that come up regardless of scale so I checked the size and they are way too big for N. Disappointing...

Hi everyone, well I made up an 8" x 9" base for this house to sit on.
That allowed me to attached the LED distribution board to the underside of this base.
So that I could finally hook up all of the LED lighting that I installed inside & outside of this house.
I thought you would like to see how it all came out looking, so here are some pics.

Wow! It's certainly great to see that all of that wiring and all of the LEDs were still functional after putting it all together. Just tremendous and inspiring at the same time.
