NEWS: Union Pacific announced via Train Magazine that they plan to run their 'Big Boy's Steam Engine from coast-to-coast to celebrate America's 250th Birthday. The plan will be worked out with Norfolk Southern, the company that Union Pacific seems to absorb over the next few years, meaning that steam power could return to the Horseshoe Curve and Altoona as soon as next year.

Hope they publish a proposed route...
