Some Details - eightyeightfan1 - 04-30-2009

Added some small scenic details to the Ore Hill Scene.

Some barrels, palletts, and a storage container. The pickum up truck isn't permanent. Just wanted to see what it looked like.
more details to come.

great work 88 Thumbsup ,the details really make the scene pop,and is it just me or does your bunk house look eerily similar to C&O's famous thurmond station?--josh

Re: Ore Hill Transformation - eightyeightfan1 - 05-01-2009

Thanks for the comments.
Might be. When someone gives you a craftsmans kit already built(I'don't do craftsmans kits, my first and last one ended up in the circular holding bin next to the workbench)I don't ask what it is.
Do you have a picture?

Thanks TL.

I found this on Thrumond Station. My bunkhouse is close, but no cigar.

Looking good ED! I love the little station and all your other work. It's all the more impressive when you take into consideration the tight working conditions.
Any climate control up there? or do you shut her down in the summer?

Re: Ore Hill Transformation - eightyeightfan1 - 05-03-2009

Thanks for the kudos Steve.

Climate control? Couple of box fans and a lot of sweat. If I open windows downstairs, have the ceiling fans going, it makes it bareable, still warm, but I'm able to do some work. I do more at night when its cooler though.

Very nice looking structures. I think that pickup truck makes the scene too.
