Ralph Re: steamtown souvenir - tomustang - 06-16-2009 Wow! and all I got was a magnet and a mug Re: steamtown souvenir - Beamish - 06-17-2009 Nice. I like to do the same thing. I have a collection of various small rocks that I collected from many family vacations over the years. They will eventually be worked into the scenery of my layout. Re: steamtown souvenir - eightyeightfan1 - 06-17-2009 Gee...I usually just get a T-shirt.... Re: steamtown souvenir - BR60103 - 06-17-2009 Did you have any trouble getting it though customs? Re: steamtown souvenir - cn nutbar - 06-17-2009 Hello Everyone---actually I've had both these locomotives for some time, just nice to think of them as souvenirs from the trip to Scranton---lucky I didn't purchase them in the States as Doctor Wayne and I got stopped at the border --- we thought we could bring back 2 bottles from duty -free and had to pay duties on the one bottle hock: ---I can't imagine what it would have cost in duties fees on a couple of locomotives Re: steamtown souvenir - Steamtrains - 06-17-2009 ... So...Is that you two guys in the cab of #3254..?? Re: steamtown souvenir - jglfan - 06-19-2009 Nice photos Ed! I didn't realize you had model photos in there till the second one. The first got bye me till I went back! Gary Re: steamtown souvenir - nkp_174 - 06-29-2009 Nutbar, the souvenir would be the photos...and how they've enriched your locomotives! Funny how the US Park Service has Canadian steam as its primary power...but that is partially because ye northerners had such fine locomotives...even if you put funny cabs on them |
