Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - Charlie B - 07-28-2009

Dear Ed, What is the bridge in the background?
Charlie

Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - cn nutbar - 07-28-2009

Hello Charlie---the bridge in the background is the High Level Bridge which is located in the west end of Hamilton. It was built in the 1930's,actually my grandfather worked on the bridge as a labourer when he immigrated to Canada from Scotland.Needless to say,it's a great spot to watch the trains as they pass below. Here's a couple more shots of the Norfolk Southern. These shots are photos of some prints I came across while cleaning out my old desk---hope you enjoy

Dear Ed
If those photos of prints are taken with the new camera, great job.

Thanks Charlie---I thought they turned out pretty good---I've recently purchased a new printer that has a scanner, once I've learned how to operate it I hope to be able to get some better quality shots

Re: Railfanning Norfolk Southern RR - Charlie B - 08-11-2009

Beautiful shot Carl, but I can't see the slug. Maybe it is climbing one of those trees. Icon_lol
