Railfanning Union Pacific - railohio - 07-14-2009

Why must the eastern roads get all the attention?

Re: Railfanning Union Pacific - Russ Bellinis - 07-18-2009

I know you aren't the only one interested in Western Roads. We haven't seen Deano in quite a while, and Tom Carter posts quite a bit from Northern Ca. My biggest problem is that my main interest is Santa Fe from the 1950's and my "time machine" is broken, I just can't seem to take the pics of the Super Chief in Cajon Pass that I would like to get!!

Re: Railfanning Union Pacific - viperman - 07-24-2009

I used to have a picture or two I took of the United Way painted loco, but I must have lost that during an old hard drive crash Sad

Re: Railfanning Union Pacific - railohio - 07-24-2009

Good question Steven, i seen Brian's last shot was a Metra too Thumbsup

I do know for a Fact Metra's "Harvard line" (from Harvard to Ogilvie Station) tracks ARE owned and operated by the UP  .

So I'm not the only one who saw that!
As are the tracks that most of my UP photos are taken on. Err...Metra also runs on the same UP tracks that most of my UP photos were taken on

Because Brian and Deano posted Metra, I'll post one of mine here too. More where this came from
