Nice Steve, I will share one from a friend that has passed away. He gave me a few pictures and I hope someone saved his massive collection. 1959 through the Delaware Water Gap. George H Mailander photo. from my collection. I know he would be pleased that I shared.

Nice one Charlie... That's RT 611 in the background, the "slow" sign is still in the same location, as is the telegraph pole. The eastbound track that the train is on has been removed. The westbound one , nearer the camera, still remains and is now part of the Delaware and Lackawanna. The rocky face to the left is Mt. Minsi, in Pennsylvania, the mountains in the background are in New jersey. There is now a parking lot just out of frame to the left of the picture for the Water Gap national park. This spot is known by the railroads as "The Point Of The Gap", we have run many excursions through there. Well over a hundred years of rail history has happened at that location, Excellent choice sir.

Thank you Steve. I wish I had got George to identify these a little better before he died. It is nice to know the history of this one.

A shot from inside the cab of that same unit going through the Nay Ag tunnel heading east. At this point we are approaching the yard limits for Scranton yard.

I'll put this one up cause it's easier to match. 514 in NKP paint as she is now. Still the same unit as the last two posts, just different stripes.
