Ontario Northland 2-8-0 #503. This locomotive is on display in North Bay Ontario. It has seen better days as it is missing the sheet metal cover for the steam dome and the boiler jacketing has long since rusted away. I have been in the cab and it is still in not to bad of shape but sadly time has took iits toll on the locomotive. I was able to shot about a half dozen rolls of film and potograph the locomotive and tender in great detail. Someday I hop to build a model of it.

Hi Wayne---nice pictures of the 503,love the "elephant ears",elesco feedwater system and all-weather cab---with your modelling skills,I'm sure you'll be able to create a unique replica---be nice if you posted your CN Consolidations---here's another consolidation---this time CN #2747 double-heading with ten-wheeler #1533 rolling through the Gern Industries property on Doctor Wayne's EG&E---hope to see some more steam engines---Great contributions Everyone

After posting my joke steamer on the last page it occurred to me that I do have a photo of a real steam locomotive. This was taken during my trip to Portland on the Empire Builder at Havre, Montana. The loco is a Great Northern S-2.
