NJ July 2001 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - doctorwayne - 11-21-2009 Nice photo, Charlie, and a nice memory, too, although I don't recall that many tracks. There's more on that loco HERE, and HERE, with another photo at the bottom of the page HERE, and a snippet of info on its background HERE. Wayne Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - doctorwayne - 11-21-2009 TH&B GP7 at the Chatham St. roundhouse, Hamilton, Ont. Wayne Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 11-22-2009 To keep this thread going I'll post a model shot of a CR GP 7 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Ralph - 11-22-2009 This is a GP7, ain't it? Ralph Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 11-22-2009 Ralph, Had to check, its a GP 18. The GP 7 -9-18 all had the same body. The 18 has differnt fans and grills. Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - railohio - 11-22-2009 The Indiana & Ohio, another RailAmerica property. Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Ralph - 11-22-2009 bdw9535 Wrote:Ralph, Thanks. I had my doubts about it being a GP7 but it looked pretty similar. Locomotive identification is definitely not my expertise. Ralph Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - doctorwayne - 11-22-2009 If I'm not mistaken, the late model GP9s (and maybe GP7s) had the same air intake and fan arrangement as the GP18. I'm not very good at identifying diesel models, either, Ralph - when in doubt (most of the time), I "google" the unit in question.
