Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - sgtcarl1 - 02-16-2010 Railron, that train is nice! And what a view of the Alps!!! Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - viperman - 02-16-2010 Charlie, I had a hard time choosing which picture to follow that CNW passenger with, but decided on this: Taken at IRM 8-2-09 Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Charlie B - 02-17-2010 RailRon Wrote:Now for a change of the locale - but this loco also reaches up to the catenary...Hello, Railron. Great picture, Would you consider starting a thread to share some more of your beautiful photos with us? I know I would enjoy it and I an sure others here would too. Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - sgtcarl1 - 02-17-2010 Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Steamtrains - 02-17-2010 Railron...I had the opportunity to visit your lovely country some (a lot...) time back, and immediately fell in love with it, and its people. I stayed in Winterthur and from there visited several cities and sites around your country, including an excursion (by train, of course) to Mont Blanc. Hope to make it back sometime. Until then...keep posting those great pictures.... Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-22-2010 Going off of Charlie's #517, a Winchester and Western GP 9 at Millville, NJ Jan 2010 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Charlie B - 02-23-2010 PC GP9, 1977, East Palestine, Ohio Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-23-2010 An ex Tidewater Grain GP 9 at Bridgeton, NJ May 1993 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - doctorwayne - 02-23-2010 Looks like a former Illinois Central "Paducah Geep", technically either a GP8 or a GP10. Wayne Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-24-2010 Wayne, I would agree with you but when I checked the Winchester and Western site they have it listed as a GP 9. They removed the lights from atop the short hood and repainted and renumbered to 403. Bruce |
