Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - doctorwayne - 02-24-2010 Sorry for the confusion, Bruce: I wasn't challenging inclusion of the photo, merely commenting on the loco's probable background. Wayne Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Charlie B - 02-24-2010 I never could understand the model change when they chopped the hood and changed the air filter style. Conrail called them 8's and 10's, but I don't know if there was any difference under the hood as far as horsepower/performance goes. Our 7 had a chopped nose, so I suppose we could have called it A GP6 7/8 Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-24-2010 Wayne, I wasn't going to post that shot because I thought too that it was a GP 10, but after checking the WW site and seeing that they had it listed as a GP 9 posted it. Glad to see you checking to keep us all honest Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-24-2010 Charlie, the GP 10's got an additional 100 HP when there were rebuilt. Not all of them had their noses chopped. Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - cn nutbar - 02-24-2010 Hello Everyone---here's a model (Life Like) of a TH&B GP-9 that looks very similiar to the Penn Central GP-9 that Charlie recently submitted Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Charlie B - 02-24-2010 Conrail, Rochester, Pa May, 1979 Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 02-24-2010 Winslow, NJ Oct 1995 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - cn nutbar - 03-01-2010 Hello Everyone---Finger Lakes Railway,June 2009 Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 03-01-2010 Winchester and Western GP 9's 520-811 and 459 working the Conrail yard in Millville, NJ Sept 1991. Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - Charlie B - 03-02-2010 1977, East Palestine Charlie Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - cn nutbar - 03-02-2010 CNR Geeps after a nose job---I only wish I had been taking pictures when these units had their original green and yellow paint schemes Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 03-02-2010 Winchester and Western with GP 9 #732 trailing, waiting on the yard lead while CSAO MI-21 with CSX GP 38-2 and GP 40-2 rolls past. Millville, NJ Oct 2009 Bruce Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - cn nutbar - 03-03-2010 Hello Everyone---here's a P2K model of a CNR Geep in the classic green and yellow livery. The second unit is an Atlas model of CN's one and only Trainmaster. The picture was taken on Doctor Wayne's beautiful EG&E Re: Would anyone be interested in the "Photography Game" here? - bdw9535 - 03-03-2010 The CSAO MI-21 crew had outlawed and were told to leave their train where it was, fouling the Millville Yard.
