I didn't get the deck seam really clean, and I may go back and use your techniques to see if I can improve it. Re: Make a 55n3 Gondola - hminky - 11-24-2009 The Bachmann flatcar deck has such heavy "grain" texture makeing the blend easier. There needs to be about .010 shaved off so the seam really disappears. The "grain" looks like bark. Harold
