Kevin Wrote:If I wanted to duck under something, I would go into the attic

Yikes! Eek Didn't know it was such a sore subject. I will never ever mention duck-unders again!

Would a removable bridge be acceptable?

Me and the bruther had a duck under our layout in the old house, but she left after we fixed-up the leaky basement. Misngth Misngth

Charlie, when will the building construction commence?

Re: Charlie b's layout - Charlie B - 03-13-2010

The construction is supposed to commence Monday, weather and mud permitting. I'm ready.
Wayne, I have some ducks here, all I have to do is jump the fence. Icon_lol

Hi Guys.
The carpenter started on the building today. He got all of the material cut to size, and will start setting the poles in the morning. He says his part will be done by the end of the week, which means then I can do my part, which will be the siding, wiring, and interior. I have all the materials for the siding, doors, wiring and floor. I may have to take a break until the finances perk up a bit before I insulate and drywall.

Hey Charlie... Is that Pennsy 5 stripe paint on the F-150? Cheers

What do you think? Can I have an "E" for effort?

...and if you had two of 'em, welded together back-to-back, you could put a pair of pantographs on the roof and get an A+ (or a GG1). Wink Misngth Misngth

that is is a good idea, but I would take the f-150, rip the bed off, and try and figure out how to add a second hood and cab facing the other way. I bet it would be a huge hit at foamer events! My brother in law is always finding junk vehicles...

PS - there is someone around here that has a truck with PRR pinstripes, and the keystone logo to boot!

I may have met him, There was a guy from AZ that came to ride the KJR twice over the years, He also had a receiver for his Reese hitch that was a coupler, but it had the opening the opposite way. (He showed us that).
Of course there are several of them out there. Mine is due for some body work, (12 years sitting over cinder ballast) but has less than 80,000 miles on it.

That's him! I've seen that truck parked at the supermarket up the street! Small world, eh?
