Spring bash voting poll - ezdays - 04-03-2010

A big thanks to all of you who entered this challenge. Everyone did a fantastic job on their projects and several of you have done more than one. it appears that most everyone has either completed their project, or has substantially completed it, so I'm listing everyone who entered here so that you may choose which entries you think deserve to be #1. You may vote for as many of them that you wish. Vote for one, vote for a few, or if you can't make up your mind, vote for them all... just vote, we think that everyone deserves that much attention. The polls will close about the time I've finished my second cup of coffee on the morning of April 19th.

Note that all names are in alphabetical order, and you can click on them if you wish to review their entry thread.

Please, PM me if I screwed up and misspelled a name, have a wrong link or (heaven forbid), missed anyone that entered. My record along these lines aren't the best, although I do occasionally get it right. Thumbsup

OK folks, we are ready, let the voting begin.... Welcome Welcome Welcome Welcome

Re: Spring bash voting poll - nachoman - 04-04-2010

Lester's challenge was actually the 2009 summer challenge...

Re: Spring bash voting poll - nachoman - 04-04-2010

BTW, so very difficult to choose. Since I am the one that suggested this challenge, I would like to give a heads up to the two people that inspired the suggestion - Ralph's caboses, and Bob's (foulrift) simple car modifications. I think i am going to have to narrow down my vote to 3 choices, and even still that may be hard! Well done everyone; some very inspiring work out of every project! Re: Spring bash voting poll - scubadude - 04-04-2010

I voted for Nachoman's tank car and Ralph's caboose...Great job! Thumbsup

Re: Spring bash voting poll - Charlie B - 04-04-2010

I thought everyone did an outstanding job, so I just wanted to show my compliments to everyone, so I voted for everyone.

Re: Spring bash voting poll - nachoman - 04-04-2010

I had to narrow it down to three - the biggest "rags to riches" project, the best overall appearance of a completed project, and the most creative (gee, I would have never thought of that) project. Still tough to vote!

Charlie, I think that your votes didn't register, as there are a few still with 0 votes. Wink Misngth

Re: Spring bash voting poll - Sumpter250 - 04-04-2010

This was one of, if not the, best challenge! There was enough "how to", back and forth support, creativity, and downright great work, to qualify it as a "guide to better modeling".
I'm somewhat humbled by the level of excellence displayed! Congratulations to all who participated!

Re: Spring bash voting poll - Gary S - 04-04-2010

I'm going to try and narrow it down to a top five. It'll be difficult.

I do want to say I thoroughly enjoyed the projects. There was great participation and some terrific work that was done. Fifteen total projects in all, that is maybe the best all-time participation in a project?

Congrats to everyone, and regardless of the voting, this was fun for all. Thanks to everyone for participating and sharing with us. Thumbsup

My votes registered for a little while, then they are gone....are we in Chicago?

I'll have to echo what everyone has said. Great job by everyone! And congrats to the winner.(I think we know who its going to be.)

I also appreciate the voting for my project, but its incomplete, and should of never even been considered for the voting stage of the contest. I feel it isn't right, for my unfinished project to take votes away from those that have completed, and done outsatnding jobs on theirs.
I will finish mine, when time permits, and will post the progress. But as far as the contest, vote for someone that has a finished project. I don't want to steal anyone's thunder. And with all the excellent work that was done...Its going to be a hell of a storm!

Re: Spring bash voting poll - doctorwayne - 04-05-2010

I have to agree with what's been said. It's been fun participating in the Challenge, but even more fun seeing what others are doing. I'm really impressed with the calibre of the work, too.

Like Ed, I appreciate those who have voted for my entries, but the caboose wasn't actually finished before the deadline, and neither of the projects were true kitbashes. I was going to withdraw both, but didn't want to be labelled a quitter. Wink Misngth However, it would bother me not at all to lose, so please direct your votes to those who followed the rules and are more deserving.

If you note in my original post here I said, "it appears that most everyone has either completed their project, or has substantially completed it, so I'm listing everyone who entered here so that you may choose which entries you think deserve to be #1". I considered that there were a few unfinished projects, but there was a substantial attempt at getting them to the point they were. I did not want to leave anyone out that made a real effort, so I thought it was a good idea to let the voters decide if these "almost completed" projects deserve votes or not.
