Thanks CN...Mike's have to be one of the most appealing engines around. They seem to have struck just the right balance between pulling capacity vs. size.

BTW....You'll note I didn't put on the number boards. I spent close to 2 hours trying to place ONE numeral decal into a board, before I gave up...I'd reached my patience limit.... Nope

I'm always glad to be able to help out a fellow modeller, Gus. Big Grin
As for the number boards, if it's any consolation, I always wear an Opti-Visor when working on trains, and, for some jobs, use a jeweller's loupe and always, plenty of light.

This is the only Mikado I own. It's an ancient Mantua that was probably made in the 60's. Not sure about that. It needs a new motor. It'll run but it's very slow and makes the devil's own noise when it's moving.

I had that very same loco many moons ago..It was such a terrible runner I sold it. It's the only MR'ing item I've ever gotten rid of.... Nope
