Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 09-28-2011 Hello --- here's some shots of CNR Mikes taken at Leetown Re: Is there a Mike in the house - jwb - 09-29-2011 Here's a Mantua Lehigh Valley camelback 2-8-2. [albumimg]4086[/albumimg] I redetailed it, changed out the tender trucks (still not completely accurate), and since this was maybe 30 years ago, installed a PFM analog sound system, also a can motor. These were the only camelback 2-8-2s, and there are very few photos extant. Re: Is there a Mike in the house - e-paw - 09-29-2011 A shot of my new acquisition from Germany, She arrived at the house as I was doing some work at over at Tomustangs place. You can really see the difference in size from a heavy Mike to a light one in the last pic...Thanks again to CNW1961 for the prompt shipping. Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 09-30-2011 Steve---a great addition to your impressive fleet of steam locomotives Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 10-01-2011 Hello---here's another USRA light Mike---S-3-A #3736 Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 10-03-2011 Coming and going.S-1-B Mike # 3254 sets off her van before heading to the roundhouse as S-3-A 3736 rolls past to the mainline to start her day Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 10-10-2011 Hello again---the railroad employees at Leetown are always very accomodating to the local railfans. As long as you follow some basic safety rules, the shops and yard facilities are open for touring and taking pictures .The engine crews are very eager to show off their steeds as well as offering cab rides around the yard---no wonder railfanning is so popular. The engine crew of S-1-D Mike #3377 have spotted their engine in a "rods down" positon so the locals can get a good profile shot Re: Is there a Mike in the house - cn nutbar - 10-15-2011 Hello Everyone---S-1-G Mike 3513 rests at the Lowbanks engine terminal in the company of an EG&E Consolidation Re: Is there a Mike in the house - Steamtrains - 10-16-2011 LC&P's #805 dropping off a cut of cars at the Portales yard. How about a series of close-ups of that German "import"...She's a real beauty....
