UFO's for Model Railroaders - MountainMan - 04-30-2010 I saw this at the CAboose in Denver today, inside the HO layout disoklay care: A gold-colored UFO with a clear canopy, under which were seated five green aliens. On the bow of the alien craft was a cowcatcher. On the stern was a coupler. On the top surface of the right wing was a handbrake vertically mounted. On the top surface of the left wing was an airbrake system, and On the rear fuselage was a sand dome. Re: UFO's for Model Railroaders - nachoman - 04-30-2010 Now I am trying to remember who sold that flying saucer kit That thing was classic. Re: UFO's for Model Railroaders - Sumpter250 - 04-30-2010 That sounds.........well...."unidentified". Then again I have seen the SD-1701, an EMD SD, with warp nacelles. Neat idea, but I don't think it is easy to switch with, it has a tendency to go from "dead stop" to warp 2, raaaat now! Re: UFO's for Model Railroaders - MountainMan - 05-01-2010 Don't forget Emmet Brown's 2-6-0 time traveling locomotive. |
