Floquil Paint Pens-Weathering Colors - Omaha Road Man - 06-22-2010

Bought a 3 pack of floquil paint pens in weathering colors a bit back-dirt, mud, and grime-to experiment with. What I've found is the paint goes on way to thick and too much of it. Perhaps its just my technique but dry brushing/chalk weathering seems more effective. Anyone else have experience with theses?

The most common usage I've heard of for the Floquil pens are weathering the sides of the rails on track.
