WinXP photo resizer - Charlie B - 12-20-2008

I have mentioned this before but I see with the different size requirement for the photos for the gauge that I should put up a link. This is one of the Windows power toys that are available.

Once you have it installed you can right click on a photograph or a bunch of selected photographs and "resize photos" is one of the options that comes up. It is perhaps the fastest way to resize photos I have found, and is available with a simple right click. It will not change the size of the original unless you tell it to. It will place a smaller copy in the same folder. It gives you 3 standard options and you also can use a custom size too.
Just remember, you can go smaller, but making a picture larger just doesn't work well.
I sure hopes this helps some of you so we can get some of those great pictures up.

Thanks for the tip Charlie(Don't worry...I am working on that tutorial)
I have MS Picture It V.10.
Great program for manupilation of your pics.(Thats what I use for my comps)
In the "Save" mode for internet posting, you have a variety of sizes to save your pics in. From thumbnails, to 1024 x1024.
Most of my pics, I can post here in 1024 x 1024 attachment.
But I found out that if you click on the pic that I posted, you get a full screen view. Doesen't work for "img" from the Gallery.

That is odd on the picture size. the best I can post is 600x800. Maybe it has been changed. I'll try another one soon.
Thanks Ed.

Great link , too bad I have vista on the laptop.
By the way the picture of the layout is really cool.

Microsoft word also resizes pictures, if you have it. The best way so far that I know is photobucket, when you upload the image(s) you can select different sizes for all of the uploads, like killing 2 birds with one stone.
