A different grass material from Dollar Tree - FiatFan - 09-29-2010 I found these while browsing through our local Dollar Tree. Bought a package and brought them home to experiment. I cut the edge with a hobby knife. I then peeled the material back from the styrofoam. When completely removed, each pellet contains a section of grass about 5 inches long by 2 inches wide. I glued them around the foundation of Drew's Deere. The grass almost seems a little too green so I sprinkled some sifted sand and some Woodland Scenics Earth Blend blended turf on top. Probably better than the sand. Although it was strained and fairly fine, it's still rather coarse.
